  1. It's cool that they're going be continuing Larry Hama's G.I. Joe series. I vow that if/when they do hardcover editions of Hama's entire run that I'm going actually snag them while they're in-print.
  2. I appreciate that they're also carrying over from the BOSJ the lack of preview tags.
  3. The two big names that come to mind for me are Boston and the Clippers. Both playoff contending teams that could use an actual point guard.
  4. Yes but you'd have to prove that it was true first and even then all that would happen would be a small fine for Kyrie.
  5. I feel like that's the fool's gold trap that the Celtics have been falling in for this entire current run. Can Brown and Tatum play together? Sure. Are they complimentary players? No. Most of all I don't think either one is consistently good enough to make up for that fact, at least in the post-season. I think, even if you might have a short-term regression, you move on from Brown
  6. I was fully invested and bought into Yoh making it to the finals, so going take a couple days to recover. Should have known better with Uncle Nobu being the final day opponent.
  7. The thing is that I feel like that's every ASM run since like pre-Secret Wars. I've checked in with the book every 3-4 issues and honestly I've enjoyed what I read. Not to the degree that I'd read it monthly but that's mostly because I'm just not that into Spider-Man. I've enjoyed the voices that Wells writes the characters with and like the overall status quo that he's gone with.
  8. Remember one of Steph's consecutive 3 point shooting streaks dying at Staples during a Sunday matinee game against the Lakers. We eventually got over losing in San Antonio but the poor shooting against the Lakers in LA is still a thing. But we love playing against the Clippers in LA, all good there. Thought the series would be a tough one because AD is a match up nightmare and AD ended up being a match up nightmare. Warriors were pretty much afraid to attempt anything at the rim when AD was in the paint. That said this is a team that won 11 road games all season. Western conference semis probably was overachieving for the team as it was constructed after the mess that was the regular season. I'm surprised if the core doesn't stay intact. That includes Draymond and Poole. Probably the biggest things is figure out what to do with the youngsters and shoring up the bench.
  9. I learned today that Ollie's is a dangerous place to browse as a comic book reader. Ended up walking out with Absolute Promethea Book 3, Absolute Preacher Vol 3, and the second volume of Mark Waid's Flash run for $70. Just a crazy random assortment of stuff for really cheap.
  10. Lonnie Walker the Fourth going off in the fourth, very apropos. He also might have put the final nail in the coffin for the Warrior's season AND the Warrior's dynasty. Oof.
  11. They announced with the lineups that the winners of Block A and B will face the runner ups from the opposite block and that the winners of those matches will face off in the finals. Should make things a little less straight forward and a bit more interesting on the final nights.
  12. 44 minutes for AD and 40 minutes from Lebron. Will be interesting if this is a factor with only one day between games.
  13. I had said that this would be the first season that a play-in team won a series but I really wasn't expecting it to be in the East.
  14. Honestly I think there are a lot of writers out there who have no interest in writing ASM just because they don't want to deal with the fanbase. I know Zdarsky outright said that he wouldn't be interested in doing it for that reason.
  15. Honestly I never really pegged Draymond as the Kevin Sullivan fan.
  16. I'll perk up and check out Hickman's stuff when it rolls out but besides that not a whole lot coming out from Marvel that has me interested. Was doing the X-Book grind but as often the case major crossover events end up being jumping off points for me and have basically checked out since right before AXE. They have some solid stuff going on but just nothing that I'm willing to buy single issue wise or to resubscribe to Marvel Unlimited.
  17. It felt like the first time, in a long time, that a Brock beatdown didn't result in "one more time" chants.
  18. Feel like that could use a spoiler tag.
  19. Have to say that I'm pretty bummed that Jeremy Adams's Flash run is ending with #800. I feel like he really got Wally and his world and would loved him to have a really long run.
  20. Honestly I think I would make the male Elimination Chamber match be for the tag team titles and have Sami and KO take the belts off the Usos. I don't think you have to have Sami/Roman at WM, I think you could push it further down the road. First you have Sami and the Usos, then you have Sami and Solo, and then you finally have Sami and Roman face off.
  21. So DC is offering an upgrade to their DC Universe Infinite subscription which will have new books one month after direct market release. $99 is the introductory price(no word on what it'll be after that) which is $15 more than what their normal annual cost is. Ultra will apparently also be the future home of some of the collections and Vertigo/Black Label stuff. Unrelated to the Ultra stuff they'll be adding issues of Mad Magazine to the service. As someone who already subscribes, I'll wait for the upgrade details but I figure it's a no-brainer for me. Between the six months for DCUI and the lag time on their collections, it's been kinda a killer to jump into new DC stuff without buying single issues.
  22. While I feel like they've been doing a real good job with the three man booths lately, it'll be nice and cleaner with just two people doing the announcing. My first choice for NXT probably would have been to bring Nigel back, since he's already there doing Level Up. Though most importantly is the triumphant return of Queen Cathy. Hunter really getting the band back together.
  23. Not surprising as this was basically the same M.O. when first party development was shut down. I don't think any of us Stadia subscribers are surprised by the killing of the service, just bummed. Was never my go to for AAA titles and I think I only ever actually purchased one title individually but the 3-5 games a month from the $10 Stadia Pro subscription resulted in me playing a lot of indie titles I wouldn't have otherwise. Going have to figure out what platform I need to buy Little Big Workshop and Hundred Days for.
  24. So basically just a running leaping headbutt.
  25. Riddle and Rollins brawling after the show went off the air: https://twitter.com/WWE/status/1574633767787954176?s=20&t=gALADCQ9GHUDiaBa47o6bw
