  1. That certainly makes it seem as if we'll see a Kazuchika Okada is All Elite graphic.
  2. Heenan was right about Hogan all along. He would have been right about Vince if he had worked with Vince as much as he worked with Gorilla. The only thing we really know about Nigel, if you followed ROH during his tenure is that he thinks Bryan Danielson is a clamdigger.
  3. Taking a hiatus from the board probably wouldn't be helpful. Like I said, I've got my IOP group, individual therapist, and this board for support. If I disappear, I'm probably off to the races, and that will be really bad. I figured talking about it now will help for when March 31st rolls around.
  4. I'll always have a soft spot for Monsoon, Heenan, and Ventura. They're the voices I grew up on, with JR to a lesser extent since I was more of a WWF kid than a JCP/WCW kid.
  5. I don't know if anything holds up as poorly as the Attitude Era, JR & Lawler included. The Invasion was a big, steamy pile of shit, but Paul Heyman did his best to put the Alliance over. Lawler never would have done that, aside from Stacey Keibler and Torrie Wilson.
  6. He probably pratices The People's Eyebrow in the bathroom mirror.
  7. The two year anniversary of my father's passing is coming up on March 31st. I'm definitely feeling some feelings. I've been listening to Everclear's "Father of Mine" a lot lately. I'm worried about possibly relapsing with Mr. White. I've got my IOP group and my individual therapist to vent to. The DVDVR has always been supportive, so I just wanted to put it out there.
  8. I loved the use of the railroad spike on Mark Briscoe. That and the Young Bucks bloody suits have Jimmy Jacobs fingerprints all over it.
  9. Wasn't there a WWF show circa late '87-early '88 where Jim Duggan and Harley Race fought throughout the entire show? It may have started out as a match between them and then ended up fighting all over. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
  10. I'd go out of my way to catch the rest of Collision, especially Brody King/Mark Briscoe.
  11. Oh yeah. I kinda forgot about Dickey Barrett's views when the idea came to me. Maybe if he could have kept his mouth shut in the first place, they wouldn't have broken up.
  12. The old Princeton Tigers football stadium had troughs. It never really bothered me. When you gotta go, you gotta go.
  13. You mean after the Red Sox trade them? Or at least Jansen, who is on the trading block.
  14. It's unfortunate that the Mighty Mighty Bosstones broke up. If I were TK, I would have thrown money at them to play entrances for the Boston show.
  15. It reminded me of the Age of the Fall debut in ROH when Jay Briscoe was hanged from the ceiling and his blood flowed all over Jimmy Jacobs white gear. I'm sure Jacobs had something to do with tonight's ending segment.
  16. What year is HHH up to in his pop culture references? I might start watching WWE again if they start lifting from Donnie Brasco. Of course, from what I read they're lifting from Seinfeld now. Maybe we'll eventually have a wrestler who only goes by his last name turn out to be named Cosmo.
  17. Of course, Kerry really doesn't seem like he was bright enough to have a mule, like Hogan with Beefcake.
  18. Would Darby come back spraying Asian Mist in his opponents eyes? It would have to be white mist causing his opponents to be snowblind, right?
  19. I'd go with Rated FT-RRRRRRR and work in a pirate gimmick.
  20. Road Dogg? (I'm not a football fan.)
  21. It would definietly be risky, like when WM was at Metlife Stadium. Imagine what that would have looked like with bad weather. If AEW were to ever run Yankee Stadium, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
  22. Wasn't she taking time off for a back injury?
