  1. 12 whole minutes went by before someone made that joke, we're slipping.
  2. Hmmm I'd say it's slightly below Brad Maddox getting fired for saying "Cocky pricks" in a dark match promo, way below Abraham Washington getting canned for the Kobe joke and not even in the same galaxy of Amy Zidian who didn't know who Stephanie McMahon was and insulted Vickie Guerrero but it's above JR getting fired for not controlling drunk Ric Flair.
  3. http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/jimmy-jacobs-leaves-wwe/#.Wd6V5WiPLIU Now Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Jimmy Jacobs basically got fired for taking a pic with the Bullet Club during their "invasion".
  4. I think it's noble that the Sens clearly refuse to score on the power play because it just wouldn't be fair to the other team.
  5. So Harper and Rowan are LARPers now? Whatever, it's Harper on TV.
  6. Should have gotten the frozen yogurt. Annnnnd I hate myself.
  7. Nah, he still has an eventual face turn down the road that they have to botch before he's totally done.
  8. "OH SHIII....oooo is this Corinthian leather?"
  9. Not immediately. He shook Santino's hand which I think shows he was willing to let things die (or he was just being nice in public only to trash him later in shoots and podcasts, I don't know). Only after being pressed for an apology he didn't have to give and not being allowed to leave by someone who could easily kick his ass did he claim harassment. If he started screaming at Santino as soon as he approached him then he'd deserve everything he's getting but apparently he didn't. Yeah he started playing it up when cops and security arrived but he's a worker with a bad temper. Not excusing it but it's what he is. Cornette never went after him in public (to my knowledge), just in shoots and podcasts because he knows his audience expects him to go after the usual suspects. Not saying it's right but after the handshake, that's it, it's over. You're not getting an apology, just let the guy leave and then trash him in shoots and podcasts. The public is already on your side so why get in a position to make yourself look bad?
  10. I don't really agree that it's Jim's fault Santino wouldn't leave him alone and let him walk away. He didn't have to apologize. Sure enough time has passed that it should be water under the bridge and most people would just apologize and get it out of the way but one is not obligated. I think after Cornette refused, Santino should have just walked away. Yeah Corny has said some shitty things about him but has it really effected him? His dojo/wrestling school is doing fine and the indy he runs usually sells out every show. He still sells merch and makes appearances, he's got a gig on Aftermath on Sportsnet 1. Wanting an apology is fine but you don't get it, move on, the person you want the apology from is clearly a prick and not worth dealing with anymore. To me Santino came across as the type who'd shove a camera in someone's face and provoke provoke provoke and immediately cry victim when the person responds. I feel like he knew he could push Jim's buttons and use Jim's reputation and temper against him. It's Cornette fault for causing that to be the perception of him but Santino didn't have to do that. Both guys were in the wrong which seems to be the case with most wrestling beefs. Just my 2 cents after seeing more of the story. Tom Servo: "Mister Mistie-Meaner? That's what you get when you rob a Dairy Queen, right?"
  11. I've heard the story as Santino offered his hand to Cornette and Cornette wanted nothing to do with him. So it looks like he tried to walk away but let his temper/showmanship get the best of him and was asked to leave by police.
  12. Earlier this year, I went to a Smash show and the advertised Super Smash Bros vs Well Oiled Machines vs American Wolves match got switched around due to Eddie Edwards being injured. It ended up being Davey Richards vs Tony Kozina in a singles match which I thought was going to be horrible but then they proceeded to work a total comedy match which had the crowd chanting "Please come back!" at Kozina at the end. ....This adds nothing to the "Tony Kozina is a prick" discussion. Just wanted to share. Also, everyone needs to watch the early Evolve shows just for the backstage skits.
  13. Tenzan once Mongolian chopped a guy so hard that it turned the guy into a pile of snakes. The crowd hisses every time he does one now in hopes that it happens again.
  14. I'm pretty sure Homicide still needs the shoulder surgery that he needed back in 2005.
  15. "The Steiners are coming in. Who's worked with them before?" *Flair, IRS and the Headshrinkers all point at the Beverleys* "THEY HAVE!" "OK, Beverleys work Steiners every night." *Beverleys throw their bags down* "The fuck did we ever do to you guys?"
  16. Would have went with Honma if the mascot had moved on the Kokeshi.
  17. Fuck him forever for the two dives against Ottawa in game 7. ...Ok, it's still pretty funny.
