Well, it's not in real life but this is the internet where the white id runs wild, so I guess. I just want to shout-out that Savage/Wonderful match posted last page. It really is a sub-10 minute classic (I think with the entrances it's under 10 anyway). They don't even work a rest hold until the 8 minute mark of the video and even then I think that's the only one. There is more heat in the opening segment than entire feuds today and this was just a throwaway Sat night main. It's nice to see two pros just do their thing. Very little wasted movement and the silly selling by Wonderful is such good old school heel stooging. Really cool match!

But even with sticking to people who have already been on tv, you have Girard, Ciampa, Gargano, Swann, and a big handful of one or two shot talent to work with. Honestly, I think cleaning house a little bit was exactly was NXT needed. It's like starting a new season.

Given this is a house show and not a taping, is it really a spoiler? It's also all over the official social media.

Do y'all not get that they put Jericho over on WM to make the result of the Fatal Four Way on Raw the next night a surprise? Internal little logic things like that happen all the time. Like how they program people with The Big Show or Kane to make people look "strong" or program folks with Dolph to make them look "good." The effectiveness is always an issue, but they do the same things over and over again. It just reminds me of how many people were CONVINCED for weeks that there was going to be a Sami/Owens one on one IC Title match at mania despite the weeks of build to a multi man match. We love ignoring facts and patterns to serve whatever weird narrative we want to believe about our favorites.

Jericho has been built up more than a lot of people realize. Ambrose's last program was with Lesnar, and while Ambrose lost their match, Lesnar isn't around so it feels like a de facto win. Putting him with Jericho is logical as both are over and at or near the top of the card. That's why the Sami loss is fine, especially given the eye poke that lead to it. Not to mention his underdog character. Also, Nattie is fine in the ring, but she is terrible at running the ropes.

Everything Cesaro does just feels so forced. Even his ring work since returning. What even is his character? Wanna-be cool rip-away suit guy? Why was he wearing only one headphone the last couple weeks? If it's some sort of Transporter or Bond reference they might, you know, mention it or work it at all into his ring work or storylines. God, and I LIKE Cesaro.

We're dealing with a group of people who thought there was going to be a Zayn/Owens single match for the IC title until last week.

I had this big ass Cookie Monster stuffed animal I would wrestle, and it took great bumps. The only problem was his eyes. He has these giant plastic eyes that would bust your mouth if you landed wrong on a splash or powerbombed him with too much vigor. My Macho King wrestling buddy (which I still have) was much more cooperative, but was like a third of the size.

Anyone else not really dig the tag gauntlet this week? It seemed so clunky.

It's funny to me that people are still fantasy booking Ownes/Zayne for the IC title at mania when the multiman match has been building for weeks and is CLEARLY the direction WWE is going.

I stopped watching ROH after Lethal won the title because that storyline seemed finished and like a natural ending place. I like the idea of the Briscoes much more than the actual matches.

Mastiff should win here, but the one thing that bothers me about his style is his wrestling like he's two feet taller than he actually is. He's always sold as this HUGE BRUISER, but Adam Cole clearly has a couple inches on him. I get he is solid and beefy, but I'm 6'2, and I just can't quite get over someone that much shorter than me being a GIANT KILLER big man. But Mastiff is more fun to watch than Kimber Lee and gets my vote.

I love the Young Bucks and everything they stand for and represent.

It shocks me that Sin Cara is still a viable gimmick.

I like Becky a lot, but Thatcher wrestles one of my favorite styles really, really well. Make sure to watch that Edwards match. I really wish WWE would have signed him too when they snatched up Busick.

Rey might be the best ever, but Bayley got me emotionally invested this year. I went out of my way to watch her. She wins.

Rusev has so many more quality matches in the voting period and his character work is just on another level. His tv champion tweet after taking the monitor at the Rumble was hilarious. If we were dealing with a full year from Cesaro, my vote would be for him. Sadly, we are not.

I voted Omega. I think his matches are more athletic and his character work slightly less cartoony. Both guys annoy a lot of people for various reasons, but I like both. I just know that Ambrose is a much more cerebral worker but he's relaxed into this silly, but over, style that doesn't quite do it for me.

Rippa, you evil genius, this is going to tear me apart.

Chris Hero is the better pro wrestler, even if that elbow is aces. An elbow drop does not a complete wrestler make. I would probably vote any other woman still left in the tournament over Hero, but not Hojo.

Rush looks like a guy that would kill you in the middle of a restaurant. Osprey looks like he would bus your table at that restaurant.
