    The whole handling of the Tag Title switch was the most TNA thing ever

     

    First Wrestle-1 announces the tag titles were going to be defended.

    Then it is announced that Richards/Edwards are the only tag team showing up on the PPV.

    Everything then assumes the titles will change at the TV tapings (which apparently was the plan) but then TNA went all WE DON'T WANT THE RESULT SPOILED!!! (again - even though everyone knew it had to happen)

    So then the have the tag titles switch at a house show... on the same day as one of WWE's most anticipated PPVs of the year.

    After all this time, and On-line services launching and having Day 1 problems, people are still suprised that new services have problems Day 1 and usually fix themselves in a few days?

     

    Sadly - this is no longer the world we live in and I pity the poor people who work technical support.

     

    Especially on this on - because I can just imagine the oxygen thieves calling in cutting promos on people because their stream didn't work

    Oh and Adam Muema of San Diego State left the combine without doing anything because "God told him to"

    Apparently - Muema's dream is to play for the Seahawks and in this conversation with God, that would happen if he didn't participate in the combine.

    I have... well you can't call it joking when it is the truth... that "FEBRUARY! THE ONLY TIME OF THE YEAR THAT THE WWE ACKNOWLEDGES ERNIE LADD EXISTED!!!"

     

    This applies to a lot more guys who I may or may not get to this week but we are going to honor Black History Month this week.

     

    What really got me thinking about this is as opposed to some other folks who, since they are dead, the WWE can close their eyes and be all LALALALALALALALALA!!! NOT LISTENING!!!! Butch Reed is persona non grata. For some reason I really got a bee in my bonnet after the Ron Simmons Black History Month video they debuted on RAW. Not only is Reed not one of the guys at the start - there is no mention of DOOM anywhere in the video. Like not even the shot of Simmons pulling off his mask - nothing.

     

    I mean... yeah it was probably a stretch to think you would put Reed in the Hall of Fame... ya know considering it is New Orleans and everything. And don't get me WELL HE WAS ARRESTED A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO!!!! Like that clearly matters to the WWE.

     

    Anyway - here are Reed and Steamboat nearly killing themselves

    That new Beachside race is a good one too.

     

    We discovered "Bluffing" this weekend - I don't know if that was the beach one you were talking about - but that was annoyingly stupid fun.

     

    There was a NPC soccer mom who had it out for Dolfan who ran him over like 3 times in 10 seconds.

     

    I of course splatted against the pier multiple times trying to thread that needle

    I think of the underrated things about the Combine for the fans is listening to the guys on NFL Network breaking down what you should be looking for in each drill, how it translates to the pros, etc..

    I mean I do not like Michael Irvin but if the man knows about anything it is how to play receiver in the NFL and I could listen to him all day breakdown how he would catch passes, which hand was better, the proper way to look over your shoulder, etc...
