  1. Jim Breaks is worth watching too. Think youtube is where I see most of it.
  2. JBL makes a ton of World Class references- it's what he grew up watching. Waiting for the Iceman King Parsons reference.
  3. WWE and help she needs rarely go together for current talent. Then again, Mexico might be worse.
  4. Have to agree- Sexy is ok at best, but the rest of the women are good in LU. Cage/Texano wasn't that good, and I like both of them, though Texano clicks a bit more with me character-wise- he seems less video gamey. I could imagine Texano hanging with Arn in a way I couldn't with Cage.
  5. Wasn't that Gomer Pyle, USMC or Mayberry RFD, both of which did pretty good in the ratings also and got canceled due to politics?
  6. Dana can talk and has a character, she just can't wrestle (yet, and maybe never) she's miles ahead of Riley.
  7. Trios was fun, Taya was super fun, some good development- pretty good episode overall.
  8. think it's the powerbomb variant he does but instead of landing on your back you land on your face.
  9. I think Grado's issue is too much of his moveset looks like cheap copies of more famous Americans. As for Malenko, most of my college buddies thought he was a complete badass for his size. They loved folks like Benoit and hated Jericho and many of the luchadors (except La Parka).
  10. Sting's offense changed a good bit in the early 90s, and after his comeback he pared down a bunch of stuff since he couldn't do it as well. I don't think he ever recovered workratewise from that long layoff he had.
  11. The tombstone was one of WCW's big transition moves. I remember Sting Germaning and doing all sorts of suplexes to Vader at times.
  12. The belly-to-belly in general is one of the worst finishers no matter who does it - even Bayley's doesn't look that hurty. I'd say it's one of the worst finishers used by some great wrestlers- and Shane Douglas. Sting really had a great arsenal of power moves- he was like a power move technician with his suplexes and slams.
  13. It makes some sort of sense for Bryan not to like Slater due to the whole kicking him out of the Nexus years ago.
  14. It's too bad Del Rio burned his bridges with LU. Paige would have fit in well there.
  15. I think that was a comedy skit with Morrison/Black/Evans that wasn't that bad.
  16. I had him pegged as one as far back as the team with Morrison, which could have been one of the all-time greats if they stuck around longer.
  17. Versus a much higher level of competition, and he looked much better in losing than Punk did.
  18. In a land where Sexy Star got pushed hard, Paige will have no problem.
  19. I always bought the Scorpion as like the torture rack- submissions based more on overpowering the opponent more than wearing down a part and twisting it. I can buy a power wrestler doing a back submission (and the scorpion to me was a back and leg submission) with slams, the stinger splash, and stuff wearing down the back.
  20. Isn't Aerostar supposed to be some sort of alien already, or just a time traveler?
  21. So many potential options with Owens- if they wanted to give him a long reign lots of easy ways to go- Sami, Jericho, Rollins, Finn when he gets back- they could take it to WM but they won't.
  22. Lance Storm makes the same claim about not hurting anyone ever. That said, if you can make that claim it's a damn good thing to say about your skill and career, and I respect the hell out of both of them for how they didn't hurt people. That's one thing Miz can't say- I know he's injured at least two folks with not catching them on dives.
  23. I'd take the Miz's life over DB's any day of the week.
  24. I expect Miz to get into trouble for that one- kinda makes light on concussions. It's perfect sense for Miz and Bryan to hate each other deeply though- then again both of them are among my top 10 of the last decade in WWE.
