Pillman vs. Bagwell featuring Austin & Shane Douglas. 30 second match and then all hell breaks loose. Completely random, Bagwell seemed super over, all 4 brought the fire during the mayhem at the end. Great stuff!

I have to say I just watched RIchards vs. Chris DIckinson from CZW this weekend and enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. Real hard hitting stuff that (mostly) made sense.

I often think Orton has suffered more than most during the PG era. I quite liked him for a long time, he has a look that screams "arrogant douche" and he makes such a good heel. Part of his appeal for me, was punting people in the head and other such vicious nonsense. He had that down perfect. The last time he was really relevant was right before he broke his arm punching the mat. His face run killed all that was good about him. He could be doing with a fresh fued with a younger guy insted of being cycled with Cena / Show / Sheamus / Del Rio for the billionth time. He really has hung around the main event picture like a stale fart for the last 2-3 years.

Froch v Groves was shaping up to be brilliant when it was stopped. Groves destroyed Froch for the first 6 rounds, Froch must be made of concrete, a lesser man would have been gone a few times, he absorbed a lot of punishment. He was slowly comin back into it and had the better of Groves for the first time in the bout, then the ref stopped it. Loved the face/heel dynamic and double turn Groves booed into the arena and cheered out, Froch turning heel by default and giving a Cena-esque promo about respect and the crowd shitting on it. Turning to the Pac-Man, he was very good, the Mayweather / Bradley chat will start again, but I cant see either happening.

I had to watch it, ridiculous match, You forgot the trashcan lid shot where the lid flies off into the crowd, which is then apparantly caught by Schiavone. From doing some research this match was almost directly up against the High Power reveal on Raw!!! Just for posterity, the other Nitro matches that night were: Hak vs. Prince Iaukea, Lenny Lane vs. Scotty Riggs, DDP & Bam Bam vs. Flair & Benoit that ended up having Benoit & Saturn win the belts but also included Arn Anderson, & Kanyon run ins.
