Ok, so I mentioned over the general discussion thread that my wife is currently on a long business trip in Italy. I also said that there is a Pro Wrestling school in that small town she's staying at. So yeah, next weekend I will be heading there to see her and she has booked a private lesson for BOTH of us in that school. So yeah. If I don't die, I might actually take some more lessons when I head back there for a couple of weeks once the summer vacation starts? Anyway, this certainly took an interesting turn.

I had the Owen-Kid rematch that ends in a DQ on some Coliseum/Silver Vision compilation and was so disappointed that it was nowhere near the non-stop action of the KOTR match. The Luger-Diesel match is at the tail end of that steroid-tested Luger that looks somewhere in the vicinity of where I have been able to get a few weeks per year at my best (not the same, but on the same planet, at least, and he's 6'4, I'm 5'6), so that's kinda fun about the '92-'94 WWF, to see the guys having to go off the juice and look somewhere near natural. Kid vs Bret was something awesome, as was face Backlund vs Bret before the famous snapping!

Yeah, Ace vs Ospreay in a thighs from hell match should be exactly the kind of almost main eventer vs plucky undercarder match that people bring up in conversations for a long time. If it's actually going to be that is anyone's guess? For whatever reason, the idea of Ciampa mixing up with Copeland is intriguing to me! In-shape old people kicking each others' asses for the win! Kinda like bumfights with slightly less shame! Bring it on!

How was he the one in this particular unification match, not Ilja Dragunov, who WAS the one to end Gunther's NXT UK title reign? As a side note, PAC as Adrian Neville was even more perfect Player One main eventer, but him being so insanely jacked kinda made him almost not sympathetic. Bate was the perfect combination of strong and muscular and cute and tiny to be this computer game hero, whose success makes it seem even bigger accomplishment due to his (lack of) size!

Watching NXT Worlds Collide from 2022 just to see Bron vs Tyler Bate. This is some exceptional shit right here! Ricochet vs Carmelo was next level as well! Ok, how in the fuck is Tyler Bate not like this Player One -type babyface main eventer now? This guy is the Player One from the Arcade game Exciting Hour, only cuter! How do you not capitalize on that? He has already proved he can believably work with guys basically twice his size and he is one half of a comedy (fake) luchador tag team? And while these things don't apply to Pete Dunne nearly as much, don't get me started on him, seriously!
