  1. Somebody needs to start up a new company and just build it around the people who have been released or have left on their own accord in the past 12 months (or less). Don't know if there will be a demand for it, but available talent sure is there! Also, PAC vs Buddy Murphy, RIGHT NOW!
  2. Has anyone called him "Glass Joe" yet? Obviously, that's not even close to a "first boss", but still...
  3. Have you checked your air bill recently? Just curious.
  4. For CSC, yeah, as long as your joints and other parts go along with it, walking is really good way of keeping oneself active. With the added bonus of being outside and breathing clean air, if you are lucky enough to live in a place where clean air is still a thing. Past week has been a mixed bag indeed. Not sure if it was the wine or tge vaccination, but I didn't feel right until Thursday, but I was able to go for a run and to gym on Tuesday, doing a lighter version of what I usually do on Monday. Thursday was a good day, with a good run and a decent workout with more general upper body stuff and pretty much full bench workout on top of it. 264 being the actual highest weight. I did try both 275 and 280 but only got two partials each, so they don't count. 5 sets of 3 with 264, then 3 sets with 220, getting 10, 7 and 5. 22x132, then 10 and 5 more with 10 second rest-pause. Friday was supposed to be Trapbar but the spot was taken so I had to settle for a bunch of trapbar-like lifts with the two 70lb kettlebells and other assorted light stuff for upper body. I did cover for that and did the Trapbar on Sunday night, getting 4x4x451 and a bunch of shrugs afterwards. My weight is as of this afternoon at 177 and expecting to go under 175 sometime this week. Now I am relaxing the diet on the weekends, but still go pretty strict during the week. Getting pretty ripped over here. Also, I got a new pair of really confortable running shoes, albeit a bit too late, as my left ankle, calf or something in the general leg area is already giving me trouble and has slowed my running back down to jogging at max, which sucks.
  5. True, I always liked this belt a lot. Would have been cool if this design would have been picked up and used elsewhere later on.
  6. That seems like a nice batch of supplements there, Gordi! The weather is cold and wet over here although it's getting green everywhere, finally!
  7. Got a run in this morning, now waiting for my vaccination. And got it and I feel fine.
  8. All right, the training week is about done and it was a mixed bag. Workouts were fine, but the weather sucked for most of the week so, no running, just one long walk. I did run last Saturday and Sunday, though. Also, the morning bike ride was on an empty stomach, only drinking some EAA. Monday was a rough all around upper body slaughter as usual. Pull-ups, dips and reverse shrugs with 60lb extra weight 3 sets each then dropped to 40lbs did set each, then 20lb, repeat and body weight, repeat. Then chest flies with resistance bands doing as many as I could, then took a step back to decrease the strain and continue until it's as light as possible. Then used the bands for lat pull-downs, first behind the neck, then wide grip to the chest then narrow grip to the chest. Repeat the cycle 3 times and did light lateral raises between each cycle. Then push-downs with the same bands starting from as heavy as possible and ending as light as possible. Three cycles of this and light bicep curls in between each cycle. Ab work at the end as always. Tuesday was leg day with the squat machine. By the way, I feel like a total tool for not realizing the safety pin in the machine can be PUSHED away so you can actually go as deep as you want. Yeah, no need for 400 lbs anymore, 300 will fuck me up just fine! Calves got their share too. Wednesday was a less heavy but still intense upperbody day focusing on shoulders and traps. Thursday was Trapbar day and I did 6x385 without Versa Grips then 4 x7 x451 which was not only shocking but probably also a some sort of a record, since I don't recall doing 28 reps in this few sets with 451, at least not since late 2018. Also, doing this at 181 lbs was really surprising too. Friday was bench day and I started feeling the strain of the week. I did have company at the gym so weights we used were a bit different I was used to. So, I did 5x110, 5x132, 10x176, 10x198, 10x231, then 5 sets of 3 to 4x264, 9, 8 and 7x220, 13x176 and 32x110. Then I did 12x110 and continued a few sets of 6 with 10 second rest pause in between. Between some of the bench sets I did bicep curls with 66 lbs and dumbell rows with 70 lbs. The weight hasn't dropped significantly, but I'm getting more ripped so I guess the fat is slowly burning. After this, it's time to relax on the week ends a bit more. I hope the weather improves so I can resume my cardio as planned.
  9. Ok, I have my first vaccination scheduled for tomorrow morning. That's the really swell news. The really SWOLL news can be read in the Health and Fitness thread, as usual. ...and now I got the shot of Pfizer and feeling fine so far!
  10. Well, even if all the shit that came out during Speaking Out didn't happen, the dude was so SOL anyway. Aside from an NXT title reign , what else was he going to accomplish? If he ever got demoted to the main roster, how far would Vince have gone with him? Not much of value was lost , even if it did seem otherwise a couple of years ago .
  11. Wow, Brian S, there were many sad and unsettling things in your post, but it ended up being happy news anyway! That is awesome!
  12. He did bust out a version of this in Japan, WCW, perhaps even during his WWF coneback in 2002. Of course, this looks way more crisp that whatever that was.
  13. That would be great! It's just been a bit of an issue, that I'm falling way behind on these classic drops. I still have an episode or two of previous Saturday Night drop to watch, more than a couple from previous Superstars drop and now a whole batch of Challenge! Add this to the RAW... well, SmackDown, anyway, edits airing on Finnish television, I'm really having trouble keeping up. That's a fun problem to have, as far as problems go, but a problem nonetheless.
  14. Yeah, just don't forget what it originally is that Miro regularly turns into this wonderful chicken salad! If you're not a wiz at it, like Miro, there still might be a bit of an aftertaste!
  15. Yeah, it was pretty obvious where the Miz got hurt, but they can say he miraculosly survived the swarm of zombies only suffering a torn ACL in the process! So, he wasn't the only one having a bad day! With the ending and the aftermath of the main event, the show could have been also called "Cesaro Has a Shitty Day!"
  16. AxB makes a good point. 20 months is a pretty long time, if you unknowingly cut calories (and if you are more inactive there is a chance you end up being much less hungry) it adds up over time. When you say you have been eating about the same, maybe there still have been some changes that decreased your calorie intake, without you realizing it?
  17. That seems quite mysterious. 70 lbs might be pushing it, but 25-30 lbs could quite feasibly be explained by a diarrhea -marathon. Rest of it, I'm stumped. If otherwise you show no signs of physical illness, maybe that was just a lucky break?
  18. Hehe, being pretty unaware of many things MMA, I always just figured that move was named after Kengo Kimura, of whom I've seen like one match ever and never used a double wristlock in that match. I think he used a move of which you weren't sure whether it was a dropkick or a flying headbutt? So, I learned something new today.
  19. Has there been any news on Keith Lee recently? Is he still getting over the aftermath of his bout with COVID-19 or does Vince still not "get" him, or da fuq?
  20. You don't get to hear THAT every day, that's for sure!
  21. Two weeks into the diet, the new profile pic shows where I'm at. Taken straight after a 30 minute home workout. Water and moisturizer used for shine and photo editor to change the shade to more impressive. No other alterations made.
