The Japan Wrestling Hall of Fame that got established last year is holding a two-day show at Korakuen Hall on September 14th & 15th to celebrate the 70th anniversary of pro-wrestling in Japan. The cards got announced today and the lineup is... pretty wild.

They then fought Kunio Toshima from 2AW and Koichi Takemura in a battle royale, because climbing to the top of Japan's biggest mountain so you can beat the snot out of people is a communal, spiritual activity.

Funnily enough, this isn't the first time this match has happened! They ran it in Hard Hit in 2019, which very helpfully got uploaded earlier today

VKF have been getting back into the swing of Osaka Pro uploads. Up here, the collision of almighty forces - Kikutaro and Kuishinbo vs Liger and Delfin Hopping forward in Osaka wrestling chronology, back in January Hayato Nanjyo uploaded his match against Masato Tanaka from FFF. The spirit of FMW will outlive us all.

Think its worth noting, though I'm open to correction, that CIMA hasn't been submitted, knocked-out or pinned for a three count in a singles in Japan since OWE was established. He lost to Jun Tonsho in a 2-count match in W-1, Ultimate Spider Jr. took him to a 15-min draw in Colega earlier this month, that's been about it. So its going to be particularly interesting to see who takes the title off him, and in what manner it happens Or, you know, he just refuses to do the job and the AJPW Jr. division just wipes itself out. That could also work.

Pending me finishing my watch-through and going back to some things I missed, the best pre-Dramatic Fantasia DDT match.

Half-hour no-ring match on a very tiny mat, from one shoot-style micro-indy journeyman unto another. Slow as molasses, at times tense, there's a whole trove of recent no-ring puro on YouTube but this stands out in an extremely good way.
