  1. You assumed it was Denny's because old people are there. Why would you make that stupid assumption? Old people eat at Denny's?
  2. This is probably a long shot, but does anyone recall a syndicated Halloween special from the early 80s called "BOO!" or "BOO TO YOU!"? I recall coming home from Trick or Treating and there being some kind of Vampire and wolfman involved. It was a sketch show mainly, and I recall it being kind-of a Laugh-in type show, because they'd go back to the theme song(Boo! Boo to you!)/dance party when going to break. It's been bugging the shit out of me for well over a decade, and because of Disney it's nearly impossible to Google "Boo To You!" Anyone?
  3. Breakfast Club - Change who you are in order to fit in!
  4. That looks like the funnest movie to come down the track in quite a while
  5. non-region locked http://youtu.be/qRivx-wEaiE
  6. Holy Shit! a The Flash series! http://www.deadline.com/2013/07/cw-eyes-flash-series-with-arrows-greg-berlanti-andrew-kreisberg-david-nutter/
  7. Best: Silver King & El Dandy vs. Filthy Animals at a WCW Saturday Night taping in '99 Worst: Gail Kim vs. Miss Tessmacher at a TNA house show two weeks ago. Tessmacher is absolutely terrible. She even barely got a pop for a post match "ass shaking as applause meter" spot.
  8. This calls for a little "soul" music. So, very, very little soul
  9. There's a difference between leasing out studio space to a show that is airing on a competitor and setting up your own business to compete with a longtime business partner who is literally the biggest fish in the particular sea you'd be jumping into.
  10. Universal owns USA & Syfy, not going to happen. Didn't Vince want to use the Impact Zone for a physical Hall of Fame location?
  11. This is the only reality show I watch, sorry
  12. Mr. Kimball was very accommodating when we took a tour of the Test Kitchen last year and he happened to be walking through the lobby while we were waiting for the tour guide/EiC of the magazine. ETA: If you like America's Test Kitchen, definitely give Cook's Country a try. Same basic people (Kimball, Julia, Bridget, Adam and Jack), different set.
  13. Brock, Bryan and Shawn - mountain men putting up with their big city wives - Mera, Brie and Whisper
  14. I was surprised by how likable Brie came off. Her and Danielson need to be on a better show.
  15. But which one? JCP? Georgia Championship Wrestling? JCP adds another two years. GCW lasted 13 years, which seems to be a magic number for some reason. Heck even ECW was around for nearly 13 years from its founding to being bought by Vince.
  16. TNA's 10th anniversary was actually June 19th, 2012. In 16 months TNA will have been around longer than WCW
  17. I did the same thing at the end of Wild Wild West. I've only walked out on two movies - 3000 Miles to Graceland and The Amazing Spider-Man.
  18. It'll be interesting to see how the Minion spin-off does next year.
  19. I actually passed out laughing at this line.
  20. The thing about BATMAN '66* is, its tone is more equivalent to 50s and early 60s pre-New Look Batman than anything else. *The TV show that is, the comic is a hollow aping of the style that grate after a while. /curmudgeon
  21. Hey Jingus, you got a link to that story?
  22. Why would you want to bring balance to the galaxy? I would assume the new alliance is still in control?
  23. I thought the big deal was about seeing Shia's LaBeouf? Am I mixing up my "auteurs"? I also thought that film was finished already.
