Jock Samson is someone that you all should get familiar with. The guy is hilarious, cuts good heel or face promo's and can go in the ring. Plus he does planchas. The guy is a machine.

Since I saw his name in this thread, my cousin is a mechanic for a car dealership where Sylvester Turkay is a car salesman. The guy is huge in person and is really cool. I've met him 3-4 times and he is always willing to talk wrestling. Another random indy thing that I was told this week. One of my good friends worked 2 of the recent Vegas TNA shows and while we were talking about it the conversation went towards NXT. I never realized that the NXT roster physically has to train/work out/watch tapes at the performance center basically all day monday-friday unless there is a show. From what she was saying it's a pretty rigorous deal working NXT. I was also told as far as the ladies go TNA pays much more than ROH at the moment and that Josh Matthews is one of the higher ups at TNA.

I was roaming the PS store and found a "five star wrestling" game. Has anyone played it? It's an indie release but might be fun. Hoping someone may have took one for the team and tried it out.

Raw has done some sort of unexplained turn for the past 4 or so weeks. Elias, Lashley, Braun just to name a few. Then out of nowhere you have Dolph suddenly leave Drew and you get Lashley and Drew. Then you have SD turning Bryan, Charlotte, Becky, and Carmella just to name a few. Is WWE in a "lets toss shit at the wall and see if it sticks" mode?

It's on my twitter feed. There's more to it also. He apparently called Jeff Hardy "a junkie with no wrestling ability" With all of this out there he will probably end up being pushed to the moon.

heads up, this game is also on sale at Gamestop for the same price as through the PSN. The only difference is that the Gamestop version gives you Ronda And Rey as playable characters. In case anyone is interested.

I spent a day with Rey Buccanero in September. He was extremely kind. Between Shocker, Caristico, and Buccanero, Rey spoke the littlest English but he did something I will never forget. I drove them to the airport to pick up Caristico (original sin cara) and since Rey knew what he looked like without the mask and could speak spanish he was to run in and get him. My car wasn't even parked when Buccanero jumps out of the back seat and runs full steam into the airport. How he didn't get detained or questioned I will never know but Shocker looked at me with the straightest face and said "this happens all the time"

has anyone played any of the jackbox party games? Can you do 1 player against the computer? Are they gameshow like? I love games like wheel of fortune etc and wish they made more for PS4.

This girl has followed me on twitter. She actually DM'd me about it. It is true. What many do not know is that she has a rocky relationship with her parents and that is why she didn't go to them instead of telling the world via twitter. I am sure her parents know about it now though and it will be interesting to see if anyone still books Ellsworth after this mess.

Got this game yesterday and absolutely love it. Some insanely good graphics. Can't wait to get a little deeper into the game.

I have watched shows with huge fans and I have watched shows with workers. It is interesting to see the things workers notice or look out for in matches that even a diehard fan wouldn't see. Austin Aries has a jerk in person though (no he didn't turn me down for an autograph). I am sure others will agree. His opinion is just as valuable as Meltzers to me

A very young wrestler by the name of Shawn Phoenix was injured badly at an IWC show last night. Shawn went to do a flip from the top rope to a guy outside the ring and missed and hit his head on the guardrail. It was easily one of the scariest things I have seen live. The ambulance was called and police and medical staff came in and finally stretchered him out. Shawn originally tweeted it was a cracked skull, but now has spinal fluid leaking out his ears. Keeping him in my prayers and asking everyone do the same. I remember him being a young kid sitting front row at shows and I am sure Jeff Gorman remembers him as well.

Isn't Adam Page also a school teacher? I know he used to be one in Virgina. If so perhaps he wants to keep on the schedule he is on to keep the health benefits and possible pension?

Also, Pete Dunn, Brock, and Candice have all had great matches. Many actually. Name me a good to great Brit Baker match that didn't involve 3 other women carrying her. I'l wait.

did you read my whole comment? It's not just that she doesn't show up, she never helped set up rings, she never sold merch, sold tickets like all the other trainees have. Elias did it, DJ Z did it, Corey Graves did it. She is the one exception. You aren't from the area or you would have heard for more than what I've posted. Brock doesn't go to UFC and trash WWE and vice versa. Brit openly trashes AIW, IWC, and multiple other promotions. I have seen this myself and am positive others would step up and back me on it. Does Candice do multiple Gargano spots every match? No she doesn't. Candice was good and made a name for herself before she was with Johnny. Brit can't say the same. But if you would like to continuing be Brit's White knight please continue.

actually I've worked shows so i don't need autographs. Look at my previous posts, I have no ill will towards ANY other workers. But regardless we shall see what her future holds. Everyone has opinions and we don't have to agree. I told what I saw and what I heard from many reliable sources. I have nothing to gain from posting what I did.

I was at her first match and most of her following matches. She got in by doing Chair Shot Reality on wrestlezone. rumoured to have done things w Lebar to get into training. The promotion she mainly works for created a women's belt which she won and hasn't defended in close to 6 months. Funny though since she works AIW and other places whenever she feels like it. She also uses a ton of Cole's spots to get cheap pops. She is horrible on the mic and has very subpar skills. If you mash Bayley with the Bella's you get Brit Baker. I will very rarely if ever speak ill of any worker but Brit Baker is overrated. ROH knows all about her, she begged on twitter publicly to be booked for the WOH tournament and they refused. She tweeted about the women's only WWE ppv which supposedly pissed off Stephanie. I was shocked NXT booked her but not shocked about the injury. Funny enough she posted a pic with Cole at the beach right after the injury too.

she is a snob in person. One of the only people who never had to set up the ring, help with raffle tickets, or sell merch. She will trash talk one company and then work there the next month trashing the other company. She knows how to play the game though I'l give her that

there was beer there. Show was fun, I won't spoil anything but my morning started out getting sharpies and stickers. Next thing I know I am going to Eat n Park to pick up Rey Bucannero and Shocker and bring them to their hotel. Best surprise ever. Got the guys settled in and went back to the show to help set up. I was asked to go back and get the guys from the hotel and then go to the airport to pick up Karistico. While at the hotel Shocker had me come in and he was facetiming his daughter. He had his daughter say hit to me and ask how i was doing. Absolutely floored that he would go out of the way to do this. We got Karistico at the airport and as a straight guy I will tell you he looked like a movie star lol. We went to a store to get some snacks and back to the show. I can not speak highly enough about them. Total class acts. Also Ultimo Dragon was willing to give me the shirt off his back. It was the wrong size. He then apologized over and over for not bringing shirts. Again the guy was a class act who had just flown cross country to be here after working Cleveland Fri and LA Saturday. Joel Gertner was also one of the nicest guys I have met in the business and he speaks fluent spanish. Was an incredible day and will be shown on FITE TV this week. Great show and time.

Pretty stoked, I've been helping Sam Adonis with promoting Lucha Fiesta and now in addition to Ultimo Dragon, Shocker, Caristico, Rey Bucanerro, and Bull James, we also have Joel Gertner coming in to host the show. Going to be a fun night!
