“Toybox taken away” = company taken off tv and lots of people probably lose their jobs. So, yeah, he might “fold” to avoid that.
Also, feel free to go fuck yourself

Ah yes, this is one of the threads where you suck the little twerp off, what was I thinking.

Fulci was a talent, but he feels to me like one of those directors whose movies live and die based on who they have as a DP.
I still have to see The Black Cat. -
The second he thinks there’s a legitimate chance his toybox will get taken away he’ll fold like a fucking accordion.

Hopefully no one in the room with him disagreed; that’s a quick way to get him pissing his pants and throwing weak strikes at them for hurting his feelings.

Beating Scorsese and Lynch is stomach-churning, but I guess the silver lining is they didn’t give it to Polanski.

Oh, and Ordinary People is the epitome of the wrong movie winning Best Picture and then becoming culturally irrelevant almost immediately.

Negative charisma, catcher’s mitt face, and he created a festival that immediately became a convention of Hollywood shills laundering industry movies as “independent.”
Paul Newman’s lucky he could walk after having to carry that sunburnt goof.

It’d be a treat for this to tank and have a lasting psychological impact on the wretched Brooks family. Weak body, weak mind.

As someone who was covered in some kind of gross solution as part of a Mr. Beast toy set not 24 hours ago, I’m the opposite; I was committed to not caring about or watching it, and now my kids are absolutely going to drag me to see it.

Die Hard with a Vengeance and Maverick were on constantly in my house when I was growing up, and Greene is great in both. He’s got a shockingly significant part in With a Vengeance considering he was the fourth banana in a Die Hard movie and shared little screen time with Willis.

I wish someone would tell that to Jon Voight. He is working on these Hollywood initiatives with the Trumpster just cause he's upset some of his friends haven't been in anything since the Carter administration.
One aspect of casting that isn’t often acknowledged is that some people stop getting work simply because people don’t want to spend three months working 15-hour days with an asshole.

Hollywood was already an established gerontocracy before the rest of America aged into it.

Tubi and Pluto probably have The Hunger horror anthology series from 90s if you want some to see some good Stamp. He’s the host of the first season, and every intro is him puttering around a dilapidated mansion just going off about subjects that are completely unrelated to the themes of the subsequent stories. The show is mid-to-garbage otherwise, but all of those 90-second monologues are incredible.

Master of Puppets is my 6-year-olds favorite song, and he told me it’s about the Puppet Wizard from Teen Titans Go! And I think he would know.

If I had to describe the perfect bench press body, Jim Neidhart is who I would point at. That dude's body was 87.6% chest.
That cushioning from his goatee was a great safeguard against dropping the barbell on his throat too. Perfect bench press body.

Finding out Isn’t She Lovely was about a baby and not a love interest after not paying attention to the lyrics for decades caught me off guard.

When Boogie Nights came out my mom’s friend had just started seeing a new guy, and when we spent time with them he complained about having to wait until the last scene to see Diggler’s hog. Even at the age of ten I sensed that relationship wasn’t going far.

Nothing against Liam Neeson, but if Sheen had stayed out of his own way he’d have been the perfect Frank Drebin Jr.

Costner’s flyover state movies suck ass. He’s more convincing as Robin Hood.

Edit: Too mean-spirited

Watched Daredevil Born Again. Impressive first episode followed by redundant and borderline insulting shit. And then they spent the last few minutes of the finale threatening to do the exact same thing next season. Pass.

I’ve known several people in their 70s diagnosed with leukemia and essentially told not to sweat it because they’ll presumably die of something else first.
