It's about Mexican drug cartels. But I am not sure how they would do it since they are at least four movies a year where the cartels are involved. Unless, they based it on like some Adolfo Constanzo/Sara Aldrete shit. I haven't seen Borderland yet so I don't know how much they delve into it.

OT: They went from James Brown doing the Black Caesar soundtrack (one of the GOAT soundtracks) to using Edwin Starr for Hell Up in Harlem (the sequel). That has to be one of the biggest drops in terms of talent for doing a score in a film series.

I guess I fall into the middle on this. Drunk people saying some bold shit is nothing new, but it's the history of what he says that makes it very bad. Now, it's standard fare for a WSHH fight video compilations. Forty or forty-five years ago, what he said would normally easily escalate into more serious violence towards black people.

They got to push the "don't drink/text" ads back later at night because they are venturing into a whole new territory of awkward. For the people that do that, it probably deters them from going out and doing that later that night. But as a teetotaler that doesn't text while on the road, I'm just waiting for one of those commercials to bring my evening to a halt. One dude is talking about bodies falling off the top of his vehicle. It's just too much for 8 p.m. central standard time.

Universal finally found a Scarface v.3.0 script they liked. David Yates (last four Potter films) will direct.

Looking at some of the articles on 2 Guns and The Smurfs 2:
1. It sounds like 2 Guns will be in the range of what Pain and Gain did. I'm not sure if that is good or not.
2. The Smurfs 2 will be relying heavily on it's international gross.
