MyAEW has added 1FW, QT Marshall's fed, to the service. They had also previously been streaming their stuff on Triller.
I'm curious if this is just TK helping out his guy or if it becomes a broader home for streaming wrestling.
Getting the “I prayed for this and it happened” meme ready for when TK works out a deal with Excalibur and Super Dragon for PWG’s catalog.

Insanely hot weather for the first few days of this week and then rain for the next few meant no running at all. Six days of alternating chest/shoulders/triceps/legs and back/biceps/core, a hour and change each session, seriously kicked my ass, but I feel great.

I can't be the only person who saw this bumped and thought this is the day Vince McMahon died, right? Least I'm being honest.
Absolutely. It’s kind of like me checking the news every morning when I wake up for another obituary. Not Vince, but a friend of his who is very similar in personality and proclivities.

Seeing as their effort to out the names of the alleged victims was defeated, I doubt they're going to win this either. If Ex Post Facto was being cited to throw out the suit only now after this has been around for a while shows they're out of ideas. The idea the Supreme Court would get involved in something like this is ridiculous.
We live in ridiculous times my friend.

I like eliminator/non-title matches. Especially in aew where the title contenders are pretty flimsy to begin with. It gives the upstart underdog a nice opportunity with a modicum of reason. O’Reilly going to a draw with Mox to earn a title shot feels a lot more worthy than Rush having weeks of squash matches and receiving a title match because he cuts a promo for one. I like well placed squashes, but building your number one contender with them is a lousy booking choice.
Pairing all these ideas together, yes, if you have a promotion that actually has rankings and sticks to them, then putting say the number 20 ranked guy in an eliminator non-title match would be fine. In kayfabe, you would never see that guy ever wrestle the champion, so it creates a fun little story. But O’Reilly beat Mox twice. He shouldn’t have to earn a championship match.

Ok, so I mentioned over the general discussion thread that my wife is currently on a long business trip in Italy. I also said that there is a Pro Wrestling school in that small town she's staying at. So yeah, next weekend I will be heading there to see her and she has booked a private lesson for BOTH of us in that school. So yeah. If I don't die, I might actually take some more lessons when I head back there for a couple of weeks once the summer vacation starts? Anyway, this certainly took an interesting turn.
If footage of you taking a bump does not end up on your YouTube channel, what are we even doing here?

Ugh. In other words, he's hoping for a Horsemen run-in in the form of Kavanaugh, Thomas, Alito, and Barrett.

I can't stand the idea of eliminator and most non-title matches. If you can beat the champion in the same format as in a title match, you should be the champion. Now if the champion says "title matches are 20 minutes, but I'll give you a title shot if you can win/draw a 10 minute time limit match," that's cool. If all title matches are 2 out of 3 falls but non title are 1 fall, that's fine, too. If a singles champ is pinned in a tag match and has to give a guy a title shot because of it, awesome. But a champion of the 20 minute title having non-title 20 minute time limit matches is dumb, to me. Just personal preference; I don't like it.

So I saw the news/rumors about Enzo and Cass returning to WWE and several years' younger me would never believe I'd be saying this... but I feel kinda bad for Big Bill.
By most reports he could be a jerk in his younger days and had all sorts of issues (many self-inflicted) but he legit seems to have straightened his life out, matured a good bit and put in the work to both get in much better shape and improve in the ring and I can't help but feel a bit of admiration for those who do seem to honestly turn their lives around. Some solid performances resulted in him getting signed with AEW and it peaked with the tag title win with Starks... and yet aside from having a check to cash it has also sorta been for naught professionally.
For whatever reason TK has decided he has no real use for him beyond an occasional card filler (which is doubly rough as its not like they have anyone else currently filling that nearly 7 footer role at the moment keeping him out of the rotation) which means it is probably a reasonable enough deal to roll the dice on a WWE return... except it'd likely be with his former partner with the toxic rep who based on what I've seen of his work since has lost his fastball on the mic (which was his only real skill). It feels like a destined to go wrong/get released in a year situation and I don't think it is a stretch to say he's earned a shot to be a TV wrestler yet both the main paths that were available to him seem to be obvious dead ends.
It's not the end of the world or anything but it sorta feels like a pretty rough break after all that.
I feel the same way. He's done so much to get better, get on track, and now he's going back to NXT to be part of a catchphrase. It would be like going to acting school, getting a role on a hit show, doing okay, and then going back under the hood at Chuck E Cheese.
I have no idea what happened in AEW, whether he made it known that he wasn't re-signing and got benched, or if his style just isn't Tony's thing, but going back to that just sucks.

No idea what the truth is, but hasn’t Raj been outed as being not the most reliable source?
Based on the “three sides to every story” rule, I’m guessing the truth lies somewhere between “My word! I was scandalized by these two almost fucking on the elevator” and “this dude made a disgusting racist remark.” It’s hilarious how far apart these tales are.

It was funny that they managed to bleep Ciampa's first F-bomb (the mousetrap spot), then missed the two or three subsequent ones. If he were paired with Shafir, their matches would be completely muted by TBS.

That's not fair to Flair!
Witnesses to the brawl said the assailant chopped Bartel three times, which had no effect. The assailant then begged off, as Bartel flexed in his face....only then the attacker came back with a thumb to the eye.

A total stranger, a jacked dude, approached me to tell me I was looking cut! I don’t see it because I have garbage self image and also, in the immortal words of Dom from Broscience, the day you started lifting was the day you became forever small, but I appreciated it a ton.

Wisconsin. But it's hemp-derived THC so it's not the good stuff.
Ahhh, gotcha.
Also, I forgot to update: last weekend's beer was Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Sumpin'. Hoppy and wheaty at the same time, super smooth and drinkable. 7.5% alcohol, so it sneaks up on you. Highly recommended.
Regarding @Dolfan in NYC's post, I didn't even know Schlitz was still around. I just read they folded in 1999 but Pabst bought the brand and relaunched it to little success in 2006. Plain old American macro lagers aren't my thing, but it always sucks to see history lost.

I don't usually mess with them, but the grocery store had some THC seltzers on clearance so I grabbed a pack, then realized too late that they also had caffeine in them. I don't want those things together, those are working at cross purposes!
To top it all off they taste like a peach iced tea somebody stubbed out a joint in.
The grocery store? Where do you live, Amsterdam? The only place you can get THC-infused soda here is the dispensary.

The older you get, the more you find yourself thinking about the people you knew who are gone now. It's a fucking gut punch, man.

Today's crazy banner ad is just a grey square that says "INSTALL -- Windows 10 11 32/64bit." I wonder what internet AIDS lives behind that one.

New Age Outlaws and Edge & Christian had the same finisher -- hit them with the tag title belt
When I used to fuck around with TNM, I made heel Flair's finisher "rollup, holding the tights" because that made more sense. Heel Flair rarely won with the figure four.

Owen was what? 5'8" or 5'9" ish and 210lbs thereabouts? Well, Austin was a legit 6'1-6'2" and over 240 pounds. His legs were draped over Owen's shoulders like he (Owen) was carrying two giant potato sacks full of Idaho's finest. That was dangerous to begin with.
Right! There is zero danger of your head being even in the same time zone as the mat when RIkishi is piledriving you.

I miss the old days where a guy would win with a sleeper and then had to do something to wake the opponent up, lest he...die or something?

Spider Man 1 remastered is on PS+ right now, and it includes the DLC stories as well. Really fun game.

Apparently RDR2 is coming out on PS+ soon. In other news, god damn, they’re going to make me play through RDR2 again.
(already beat it in Xbone and Series S).

I keep seeing content referencing Uncharted 4 (I'll throw game list or game discussion videos on as background noise from time to time), so it motivated me to finally get to the end of Uncharted 2, which I powered through at the end of last night. I thought this was a game that I had started 3-4 years ago. When I went and looked through my trophies, I had gotten the first UC2 trophy in the PS4 collection back in 2016. Time is weird because I would not have guessed it would have taken me 10 years to get to the end of the game, but it's a weird one where every couple of years, I would just pick back up where I left off, knock out a few chapters, and then move on to some other interest or distraction. The game definitely shows its age as I powered through the end of it (I mean moreso mechanically because visually it's obvious).
Without spoiling anything, I do like that one of the final gameplay sequences of the game is a nice Naughty Dog throwback to one of the Crash Bandicoot boulder levels.
I'm now debating if I skip 3 to play 4 or if I should play 3 first.
I’d never played a single Uncharted game because I went from PS2 to Xbox in 2006 and only recently went back to PS with PS5, but Uncharted 4 is really good! The DLC story for it is also fun, and actually features one “open world” section.

I can’t give them too much credit, since Connelly pretty much still looks not much older than 30ish AND Cruise is over 60. Call me when they bring back 2025 Kelly McGillis as the love interest
