  1. I'd prefer Rusev gathers an orchestra and forces Cena sit and listen to "Pictures At An Exhibition" by Mussorgsky Now that would be appointment TV and would finally get Vince that coveted spot on Great Performances he's always craved! James
  2. The Bollywood Boys? HELL YEAH~! James
  3. The bogeyman? Is Cena doing a golfer gimmick ala Barry Darsow? Oh man, a Bogeyman/Kerwin White Feud just writes itself! They feud over who has better handicap! James
  4. If only I had an "ignore" option in ye olden days of the Anime Thread discussion of Evangelion, I would've spent less time calling a 15 year old "the dumbest human being alive" and more time painting! James
  5. Could it be worse than "Truce At Bakura"? James
  6. I thought Steele was a also a draw in the Detroit area in the 60s? James
  7. I wish the awesome Rip Rogers OVW promo were online. He was booked into a ladder match defending a title and he didn't realize. He basically gave his version of the Murtaugh Defense James
  8. I audibly chuckled at that. Fantastic. The image of Cena going to whatever flower shop/boutique Asari works at and getting on his knees "C'mon Asari! I need to know the secret!" is no burned in my mind James
  9. Oh I know there isn't enough of us to pull it off. I don't know about Bari Bari not winning though, as many good OP that have come out none of them really stick out with me James
  10. Remember about3 Boards ago, the Great DVDAR Greatest Anime Opening Polling? So many great songs The Inu Yasha Bracket (aka my own personal HELL!) Gatchaman no Uta not even making the final 8? BUT... we hada clear cut winner in the end. I often wonder if such a Poll were to happen again if we'd still get the same result. We'll never know I suppose And The Winner Was: James
  11. I'm now all caught up on Food Wars I like that the secondary characters are getting a chance to shine during the Autumn Selection Exam and the curry battle is truly fun so far. The worst part abotu this is having to wait for episode 22 when the Aldini brothers face off against each other! James
  12. God what I wouldn't give for a Simon & Simon update with John Hamm and Adam Scott James
  13. But Twain wrote Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn detective stories didn't he? James
  14. That's a bold statement when Sinestro Corps War was the best Green Lantern story since I can't recall... I wonder if John's best Flash measures up to Waid's best with the character at times James
  15. I've read 1-8 of both Star Wars and Darth Vader. Both re infintely entertaining. Didn't know there was a Lando book. I understand there is a book covering Kanan from Rebels as well? James
  16. Sooooo, do we talk about Marvel's Star Wars book here or another thread because... I LOVE THIS BOOK~! James
  17. I thought the board was down, turns out I had just ended up in Byston Well James
  18. Nine days after losing my job of almost 3 years I got another job. It was worse (door to door sales is the pits). While doing that job I scored an interview with a place that better suited me and now I start there on 9/8. So rejoice, for my blushing bride can pay our bills and continue our attempts to have a family! James
  19. The last issue of Eltingville makes me realize how comic fandom has sucked all the joy of reading comics right out of me. i.e. if I could just sit down and just read a comic and enjoy it, without over-analyzing it to death I'd waste less time and be happier. James
  20. With this year's Toku offerings being... not very good, I've upped the anime queue. I'm late ot the party on Food Wars but how can I not love a show that combines Iron Chef, comedy AND h parodies hentai all at once? James
  21. Umm, they'd probably turn on each other before the match even starts. The Police had a history of in-fighting with each other. Not just arguing each other either, actual physical altercations. Think it was more so Sting & Copeland. I think it's in the doc they did, or probably from an old Concert move. "Don't stand so close to me" was probably a code word they used on stage so they didn't punch each other out "Message in a bottle" was how they communicated with each other. Oh I know the history of violence involving members of The Police. It even tops the openvioence between Daltrey and Townsend in the 70s James
  22. When Chris Claremont was at his peak, he could take something as ridiculous as Spider-Man teaming up with Red Sonja to fight Kulan Gath and make it work. Then he took it a step furtehr and threw in the X-Mn and The Avengers. The result is, in my opinion, the BEST Spider-Man story to not take place in an issue of Spider-Man (be it Amazing, Spectacular, Web or Marvel Team-Up). Claremont always hada knack for writing Spidey, he had the character voice down perfect an one of my major laments was that Claremont wasted his time on X-Men instead of writing awesome Spider-Man stories. Add John Romita Jr on the art and you have one of the best Marvel stories ever published!
  23. I can still go back and re-read High Society over and over again and these panels always get me. God dammit Dave Sim really was brilliant at one point! James
