  1. GODDAM YOU PEOPLE~! As if I don't have enough shit on my personal queue, based on all of your recommendations I decided to give "You're The Worst" a shot. Fuck... 2 episodes in and I'm digging it the most James
  2. DAMMIT DEAN~! When you post "HASEGAWA RETURNS!", I damn well thought it was Saki Hasegawa! I was most disappointed... then I watched the matches and now am only slightly disappointed! James
  3. I swear Neville looks like the modern Marvel version of Dracula James
  4. This is what I was yelling about a couple of pages ago. Everyone needs to give Jane a shot I'm hip deep in at episode 15. Its such a great show that balances genuine family dramedy with insane telenovella stereotypes. It's like a collapsing sun that makes a black hole that brings to the other side of time and space...maybe not but it is still fuckin worth watching James
  5. I got nuthin... http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/campbell-recalls-randy-savages-animalistic-sex-on-spider-man-set James
  6. Me and The Wife from a Masquerade Ball we went to last weekend James
  7. Based on a recommendation from The Wife I watched the first 2 episodes of Jane The Virgin. I liked it well enough to get through the next 6 episodes James
  8. Um... well Quantico is way better than Ithought it would be. 4 episodes in and I'm hooked James
  9. It takes a few issues to really sink what was at stake in CoIE, so by the time issue 7 hit you realize "Shit is really going to change" James
  10. Liked episode 4 for Iron Blooded Orphans. Next week is a double dose of Gundam as we get episode 5 and Gundam The Origin Part II ! James
  11. Uh-oh, another seiyuu in trouble. Let's see if this reaches Noriko Sakai levels of denial and insanity James
  12. Everytime Isee Baron Corbin I think WWE Network has startd airing reruns of Renegade James
  13. Yeah it was in Foley's first book about the psychology of a heel coming from Hayes. Another example of the Heel psychology ala Hayes: The Road Warriors turn on Sting. It was supposed to be the Roadies and Dusty defending the 6 Man titles but Dusty blew them off for a charity event and Sting subbed for him. The Roadies took their anger out on Stinger and laid the blame at Dusty's feet, saying he didn't care about the 6 Man championship and in turn showed how some "stupid kids" were more important than the titles. For weeks everyone waited for Dusty's response. This led to the eyegouging incident on TBS and then the Starrcade tag title match. Dusty wanting revenge for his eye, Sting wanting revenge for his neck and the Roadies just wanting to beat the crap out of both. James
  14. God Foley begging Tommy Dreamer to leave ECW and take a WCW contract in order save himself from the ECW fans ended being so prophetic. His claim of "THESE ECW FANS WILL BE THE DEATH OF YOU!" rings in my head to this day. James
  15. Blame WCW NWO era Hogan for long promos that go nowhere, Trips just took them to the next level and would bore a crowd to death with them James
  16. I agree that Russo havign people constantly turn killed the effectiveness of a heel turn. Hell didn't Carlito turn on Chris Masters at one point in 07 and it should have effectively made Masters a face but then they just ignored it the following week? I mean it wasn't Russo who booked it but it kinda hammers the point in James
  17. The Hayes/Von Erich incident plays in to the Hayes philosophy on heel psychology, that no matter what lengths the heel will go to, in his mind he is doing the right thing Jsmes
  18. Is there a street date for th Dolemite Blu-Ray yet? I'm hoping this does well so we can get The Human Tornado on Blu-Ray next James
  19. I wish to God I could remember those Martel squashes and Santana asking him to team again sots but I'm drawing ablank. He was in the Rumble didn't do anything of note. Huh... can't argue with facts. James
  20. WAR GAMES: The Match Beyond! Do I need to say anything else? ell maybe a little. I love this thing so fuckin much. The first one is still my favorite. Arn stooges like crazy, Nikita is finally not invincible and Animal is explosive as fuck. The crowd goes apeshit for both Road Warriors andwatching a match where people don't "Woo" when Ric Flair chops a dude is something anathema to wrestling in 2015. God I mis the fuck out of this! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x23yh4o_the-super-powers-vs-the-four-horsemen-nwa-great-american-bash-1987-nwa-war-games-1-atlanta-ga-07-04_sport James
  21. WCW Flair in the asylum, complete with random Scott Hall appearance is one of those surreal but awesome things that will always stick with me James
  22. The end of Flair/Michaels is a thing of beauty though. Flair eats that last superkick and he is aware enough to kick but just doesn't, he knows he's beat and lays there crying as the ref counts 3. Him goading Shawn on was equivalent of "This is the only way it can end for me, don't you dare think you're winning any other way!". This isn't Flair losing ot Stng or Dusty so a small package win ain't happening, if Ric Flair was going down he was going down after 2 shots ot the face. James
  23. Um no, Martel's return was the Wrestlemania match, it was even hyped as such going in. Martel had no TV matches previous. It was an ut of nowhere heel turn James
  24. To thi day don't get the Rick Martel heel turn on Tito Santana James
  25. There is the matter that Hogan's interference led to Savage winning the title and Hogan didn't ask for a title shot based on that. He waited until Savage turned on him to get it. Hogan also saved Savage when the Hart Foundation were beating him down on SNME. Liz came to Hogan because no one else would. Sure, as a babyface was kinda reprehensible at times, but in thr angle, he was genuinely hurt by Savage turning on him. The angle also played off of Savage's well documented real life paranoia about people ogling his wife. James
