All of this Best Friends love makes me so happy. Like others, the shot of them leaving the ring victorious was the highlight of the show for me.
When it’s all said and done (hopefully a very long time from now), humanity will look back on Best Friends as the very best of AEW. The Parking Lot Brawl, Arcade Anarchy, OC’s debut match (“he’s gonna TRY!”), what we saw yesterday, Sue’s Dark Order segment, it’s all just the best.

This is awful. So young, and with a young child
I am a huge unabashed mark for the Firefly Funhouse Match. Just Bray, Cena and Bruce locked in a warehouse with pure, unfiltered, raw, batshit insane creativity. It kicks ass.

If not the greatest of all time, easily one of the five greatest of all time. An all timer five tool player who could do absolutely anything on the card at an elite level: face, heel, talk, bump, sell, brawl, wrestle, fly, comedy, whatever.
The best.

So the question is, what does the tattoo say?
I’ve already seen this episode of LOST

That Nakamura promo kicked ass on several levels, most importantly giving Seth’s character some sorely needed depth. “Guy that overcompensates for his weaknesses with pizzazz and has a Punch-Out boss-style weak spot” is way more interesting
Now they can run a Bane storyline when he loses the title to whoever

I have loved how lean Collision has been rostered since it started and hope it stays that way, but I thought last night suffered due to that when injuries and FTR being out clearly hit them.
Again I wouldn’t change a thing and love how it feels like a troupe, all in all.

Not to downplay it but I had no clue that was justification for aggravated assault. Especially in Florida. In Georgia Arn calls this “Tuesday”.

So The Last Outlaw was The Final Girl, as it were
Shit now I want to see this all filmed at the Briscoe Farm, complete with Papa Briscoe and Leatherface recreating that one scene from Jason Takes Manhattan

With as many W*ING and FMW marks as there are in that locker room there is no way Leatherface wasn’t someone we all know.

Considered starting a new thread but I’ll just leave it here, which is “songs you associate with a particular time and place in pro wrestling”
Because “Another One Bites the Dust” just came on and that’s JYD coming for Ted DiBiase’s ASS in Irish McNeils

Max plays video games one time and calls Strong a Default CAW
Just fantastic (and accurate as hell)

I haven’t been the biggest Punk fan historically but the amount of fun he’s having right now just jumps through the TV screen. It’s infectious. He and other guys like MJF and Cole are having a blast out there and you can’t help but smile.

Collision continues to be the best wrestling show in TV for my money. And next week looks ridiculous.

The “booking vs. star the fans want” feud / push (Daniel Bryan, Becky, Kofi) isn’t nearly as fun when it’s transparent that the promotion is obviously doing it, which is what they’re doing here with LA Knight. You can see the strings on this one.
Hope it doesn’t backfire.

Athena is kind of a dark horse WOTY candidate. She is next level right now.

It’s a credit to the performers that MJF/Cole has a variety of potential outcomes and I don’t think there’s a wrong one.
Part of the reason I think Lex and Sting has been received so well for 25 years is because it’s a dynamic that hasn’t really been done well before or after - with the possible exception of Sami and Owens, but there only for brief moments.
This is a real chance, should they go down that road, to see that dynamic again. I’m on team #keepthembuddies

I mean it's called Blood and Guts not Flesh Wounds and Mild Knee Sprains for a reason.
Rename it Kneepads and Jeans

I’m not down with the deathmatch-ification of Wargames. A bed of nails in a Wargames match? The fuck outta here. The match is supposed to be beating the shit out of each other until someone gives up, not shitty CZW gimmicks.
Didn’t dig it

That tag match was an experience. One of the hottest crowds of the year.
Collision continues to be an incredible show.

This felt like a pre show for next week. Wednesday Night Heat.

Collision was just ridiculously good. Incredible tag match, I dug the Sky/Andretti JTTS match and the main was the traveling house show version of Joe/Punk and I mean that as a huge compliment. Dug all of this.

How he’s successfully developed Yuta is up there for Tony. From underneath guy to grade A shitbag and credible TV main event threat against the top guy. Well done unc.
You can also never go wrong with going off air while Tony exclaims that we’re desperately out of time!

Would be incredible though.
Cena: “Nice speech, but…”
And before he can even get the first word of his promo out afterward Gunther chops the shit out of him, and that’s that
