Edge to me is similar to Bryan in that he's enough of a name guy to have a WM match with Reigns at a time when Reigns isn't going to lose to anybody, and you don't want to feed someone with upward mobility to him. It's not a match I particularly want to see but I get it booking wise. I don't know who exactly on the roster should beat Reigns at some point, but I think we're a year+ away from it. Miz was a highlight until the past year's team with Morrison which has been the drizzling shits. If this cash in happened a year ago no one would have an issue with it. As it is, the stench of corporate brand synergy whatever is all over it and it pretty much sucks.

The WM match with Lesnar stands out as one that Mox clearly hyped as him more or less turning into Onita. I look forward to hearing the story of that match one day; I highly doubt it would be Brock that would veto anything given what a bump freak he is.

I'm gonna do house shows only. Was at WM 25 Taker/Shawn so that wins overall. I got to see Flair and Steamboat in 94 as they went around the horn around the time of Spring Stampede. It was, of course, amazing. Saw the infamous Nasties/Outsiders shoot in Shreveport. The initial WWE Starrcade house show in Greensboro a few years ago was pretty cool. Dustin came out to the WCW theme and Arn spinebustered a dude.

I don’t think they’d put Banks over Belair after just putting Charlotte over Ripley last year.

I'm curious to see what closes WM. Obviously Roman is the biggest star in the company, but he also should steamroll whoever he's up against and keep building this character. He shouldn't really be in jeopardy until crowds are back in the building. So do you close your biggest show with a foregone conclusion?

Dustin Rhodes. Only a very small handful of dangerous matches in a 30 year career that was both safe for him and his opponents while putting on high end stuff.

I’m imagining in my head, in a perfect but nonexistent world, 3 months from now we are far along in a “is he in or is he out” angle with Hangman and these guys. And then, in front of a packed house and in the crescendo of an angle two years in the making, he basically says “fuck you, I’ve got my own crew” and the geeks, twerps and nerds from the now-babyface Dark Order storm the ring and get to run wild over these guys to close the show, blowing the roof off the place.
