Hamels won't go to the Cubs. This is just Theo and Jed taking a shot in the dark. They will get Turner, though. There was some speculation yesterday that it would be for Shawon Dunston Jr., since he left a game earlier, but that was just because he was sick. What would be great is if the Marlins wait too long and the Cubs get Turner for free.

The worst thing about movies like this is it seems to make everyone an expert on the person and it's like, "No! He wasn't like that!" Then people look at you like a quizzical dog because they saw it in a movie and that's apparently gospel.

Titus Welliver (I'm sure I fucked up that spelling) is something awesome. I didn't particularly care for him in Sons of Anarchy because he was doing a really shitty Irish accent, but he's great in just about everything else. Doc is the best, though. The way he talks to Al in some scenes is awesome. You da man, Brad Dourif.

I was going to say that as well. The Shield's entire run was pretty perfect. They also debuted and broke up in the same venue.

I'm 4 episodes into season 2 of Deadwood now. I really love this show, but some of these characters can fuck off. I fucking hate Farnum, little runt cocksucker. I also may have said so elsewhere, but Olyphant is awesome. I can't recall another character who is just so fucking pissed off nearly 100% of the time. I really just want the show to be Al, Seth, Saul, Silas and a few others.

Other than being pouty in Miami, yeah. He got help, he's straightened up, and he's helped lots of other young people get help too. But he did a horrible thing and isn't allowed to try and make up for it and must always be defined by it. Well put. Thanks.

I have a feel Avengers 2 will be a game changer with regards to that problem. Call it a hunch, but I think Avengers 2 will be like Empire as far as tone goes. RDJ already said that Ultron is the best written villain he's ever seen. I'm guessing that Thanos winds up with some of the stones by the time Avengers 2 is over. As far as Thanos goes, and even Ronan, I did think they were a little weak. That was the only misstep in GotG. When Thanos appears, it should have had more importance. Or Thanos should have done something to make him look evil. To a lesser extent, the same applies to Ronan.
