Another Saturday gone, another Xur opportunity missed. Although this time I didn't fall asleep on my couch at 10 pm, I was at a Halloween party, came home, and then my girlfriend and I watched Cabin in the Woods. I did fall asleep during that, and when I woke up the first thing I thought of was missing out on Xur again. However, I did use my motes to get the helmet Engram, which gave me a helmet for a Warlock, do I guess that's what I'm rolling as next.

I have a 4 year old and I'd trust whatever she told me was true.

My divorce was finalized on 10/30, just a day before my birthday. So happy to be done with that.

We got the same snow, wind, cold and rain bullshit that jae got, but we pushed on. My daughter was Elsa, my girlfriend was Anna and I was Kristoff. My girlfriend and I made our costumes and honestly, they kicked ass. I'll post a picture later. Anyway, trick or treating didn't last long, and it was also my birthday, so we headed back for pizza and cake. We came back to a shit load of candy that didn't get handed out. I bought about $30 worth of candy weeks ago and of course given the weather, we had no trick or treaters according to my mom, who stuck around to pass out candy. Ah well, now I can work on getting diabetes. Rest of the birthday night, aside from Pizza Hut sucking, was awesome. I got a nice set of Vice Grips, the new Alien game for the PS4 and a sweet new griddle. After my daughter went to bed,my girlfriend and I had some good beers and watched Django Unchained. It was just a really good Halloween/birthday.

Sony's update boned my PS4. Lesson learned...never put your PS4 into sleep mode.

Any consensus on Patience and Time if you already have a good legendary sniper rifle? Still can't decide if I should get P&T or the Lucky Raspberry.

I'm conflicted on whether or not to buy Patience and Time. It's not much better than the legendary sniper rifle I'm using now, but the ability to go invisible when looking down your sights is enticing.

Man, if that is the case, that may be the dumbest thing about this game. So basically, you get one shot at raid gear once a week and you need the raid gear to hit 30. Wow. Not one of us yesterday got one piece of raid gear. Fucking dumb.

Ok, my buddies and I are confused. We thought you can't farm VoG, but on the Giant Bombcast, Brad said you can. He said the chests will be empty, but the bosses will still drop loot, including raid gear. Is that right?

We beat the raid yesterday after it kept bugging out like crazy. Bungie really needs to fix that shit. Anyway, it was really cool and it was fun because it required great teamwork and communication. As for the Nightfall, the Minotaur up top starts spawning right away and the adds down below are usually out of sight. I'll tell my buddies your strategy though, and we'll test that today.
