  1. IWTV is really good if you like deathmatches or just indies in general. If you are looking to follow certain promotions it probably won't be worth it. They just added a lot of high quality AJW shows. I know IWTV/GCW are or were involved in a lawsuit at one point that seemed to boil down to money and ownership of master tapes.
  2. Unfortunately there isn't any means to watch their backlog. You have to buy them show by show. IWTV has some GCW shows up to late 2020. GCW doesn't have a dedicated streaming service and doesn't have any plans to do so, at least publicly. You'll need to fly the skull and bones to find their back log.
  3. It ended up OK. I don't recall ever seeing Mandy wrestle and I have only seen one Katie Lee Ray match, a war games match. I didn't know most of the people on this and had very low expectations. LA Knight vs Walter seemed like a tv main event. It was ok but I wanted more. Bron-Ziggler was hurt by the weak ending.
  4. I haven't watched NXT in a long time, this was a great show. I'm up to the women's title match, which I don't think will be good... the women's tag titles match seemed to have all the top talent.
  5. Man, the entrances for this match are going to be extravagant. I think all four know how to milk it.
  6. You have to Inception it into his head. "He's (Cody) like this because of your influence, you made him into this. Now you can show it off under your control". Man, now I want a WWE style Inception movie, going into Vince's dreams to like, save Wrestlemania. It'd be like A Serbian Film but with fart jokes.
  7. I'm begging you Go, please win
  8. Slowly catching up with AJPW, the RWTL finals with them was good. I think Doi did well with what they gave him to do in the CC last year, I get why he isn't in it this year though. I think he can be a reliable mid card guy for AJPW.
  9. Watching Total Eclipse vs Voodoo Murderers, I want to see Koji Doi vs Shuji Kondo.
  10. I'll probably watch Spring Break Pt 1 and 2, maybe Planet Death. There's a ton of shows but nothing is really jumping out to me this year.
  11. My dad is really the only person I know who watches Raw and Smackdown regularly but isn't a smark. He's been a fan since the early 80's, through and through WWE fan. I asked him who he thought was wrestling Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania, he said he figured a legend would come out and beat him up. When I said I heard it might be Cody Rhodes he said "Who!?" I kinda reminded him, said he left a few years, helped found a new company and now he's back. "Who cares?" He is very engrossed by Roman-Brock.
  12. I was thinking Kojima or Nagata.
  13. Wonder who will replace him. Who else has a connection to AJPW in NJPW?
  14. I figured it was Yuma's year. I think I'll reactivate my AJPW sub for this. I figured Lee would get spoiled on the last day, especially since he won last year and never lost the title he's still easy to get into title contention. Ishikawa always seems positioned as a gatekeeper in the CC. There's no clear winner. It could just as easily be Miyahara-Lee again.
  15. Just uncertainty about who is winning that block. I'm usually way off on these things.
  16. I'm guessing the final is Ishikawa-Aoyagi. I hope I'm wrong.
  17. Dominic Garrini vs Jesse Neal, Kasey Kirk vs John Wayne Murdoch and Joel Bateman vs Reed Bentley from ICW Pitfighter X were all really good last night. It was primarily a deathmatch show by Garrini vs Neal was a fun faux mma/hardcore match. Crowd was hot all night.
  18. Jason Hotch won the Gut Check 2022. If he starts in Impact I'm definitely renewing my subscription. He's a good rising talent from Michigan. I could see him excel in Impact.
  19. Went to a local indie last night, XICW in Detroit. It was ok, of the four live shows this year I've been to it was probably the weakest overall. Did some odd things. They brought everyone on the card out all at the same time to start the show, since it was their first in months. I got why but then everyone cheered for the wrestlers they were excited for then so when they came out later the crowd was more muted. DBA vs Hoodfoot was my MOTN, fun brawl, though only a few seemed to know who Hoodfoot was. Simon Gotch got kind of a weird response in the main event, I don't think too many recognized him from NXT/WWE. A lot of the regular local talent were receiving cheers/boos, way more over. My major hang up was when they announced their return show next month. Charlie Haas was the first special name, not a single cheer/clap/acknowledgement. Then we got the other name, "NJPW star" Michael Elgin. Why? Was Virgil already double booked?!
  20. https://411mania.com/wrestling/michael-elgin-sues-impact-wrestling-breach-of-contract/ Ok.
  21. What do you mean there isn't a top 4, I'll have you know Toru Yano is the reigning King of Pro Wrestling?!
  22. I imagine the bigger DM promotions will want nothing to do with him. GCW, ICW: NHB, ICW, IWA-MS, H2O, HMW, etc. I'm sure he can work the next Carnage Cup or dinky dm feds not filmed. I mean, one of his accusers stated he was abusing meth and stealing from promoters.
  23. Indie wrestler G-Raver has had multiple women accuse him of domestic abuse and hard drug usage on social media. There were reports he also stole money from H2O trainees and was grooming another but when I asked elsewhere for proof of the H2O stuff I didn't receive anything to substantiate it. He was mostly a DM wrestler, I expect his career is over. Sounds like he is a monster.
