I'm assuming Orange Cassidy vs Buddy Matthews sweeps this week, but there were plenty of other matches this week. Okada/SANADA was on AXS TV (I think). The last fifteen minutes of Kaito Ishida/T-HAWK for the G-REX is prolly the most intense fifteen minutes I've seen in a while so I'm prolly voting for that. Bronson Reed/Bobby Lashley was a great HOSS FIGHT! I had to judge from the YouTube clips for the NXT stuff. There were giant wads of Lucha to dig but my heart fell for the giant fat hogs battling the Pandemoniums. It was a good week. Xavier Woods is the Stu Grayson of the New Day in that you don't notice all the crazy shit he does until he is in a singles match. Like the REALLY GREAT Tope Con Hilo he hits. They have a good little wrestling match. I loved Woods COUNTER grabbing LA Knight's tights! That's so old school. IT's Santos Escobar! Damien Priest is our secret superworker. I'm glad somebody is finally cashing in on LWO shirts. I bought one back in the day from Big Lots after it was originally abandoned because WCW was run by total idiots. Santos takes an early assbeating. The crowd gets behind Escobar as much as a WWE crowd will. These guys are good in the ring together. Moonsault by Escobar FOR TWO! The crowd is actually into it. GREAT FINISH as everybody plays a part! Damien Priest secretly rules! It's REY! This feud is fun! Shinsuke Nakamura RETURNS! ALLRIGHT! It's MAdcap Moss! I had a random thought. What if at Forbidden Door you had MJF vs Okada? THEN Okada wins the AEW title. THEN the four pillars REALLY don't look like they are in contention for the belt and it goes over to the contingent of Bryan Danielson, Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, maybe Claudio, and Jay White. And you could also have Will Ospreay win it and have ANOTHER Ospreay/Omega bout but for the AEW title. It won't happen because TK is separating the world title from the actual world famous superstars in the company and I'm not sure how mixed up he wants to get with New Japan booking.

I'm still in ICU so I can't watch on the big screen and write at the same time. Travis Williams versus Wheeler Yuta was pretty great. I need so much more Williams in my life. Mike Bennett vs Darius Martin would have been the match of the week if it had an actual finish. Mike Bennett is the Dennis Condrey of the Kingdom. I dig that they are setting up Action Andretti as a temporary tag team member. Alex Coughlin was AWESOME with his From The Floor BRAINBUSTER!
