  1. I would have all three New Day members fall in love with Sasha, but she shows them no affection and just bosses them around. The skits of them trying to win her heart would be so fucking golden.

  2. 40 years ago, I decided to give this life thing a try. It's been a rocky road, but hey, I'm still here, so not all bad. ;-)

  3. We'll never get what we want. Because the assholes in charge don't want us to want what we want ... the Attitude era set that shit up under the label of "a swerve." Nowadays, who knows what to call it ... can't call it "masochism" because the people in charge of what goes out live don't think they're hurting us; it's not "sadism" - putting out shit because we will hate "Creative," because they *don't* think fans will hate it. And the worst thing that's happened was when they listened to fans about Bryan. They listened to fans, scrapped plans that were clearly - and more importantly for some (unless they have been banned or just moved on) researchably - set in motion and were still, until the day of Mania 30, possible and well in motion. We got Mania 30, and now the idea men get to cluck their tongues and stare at us from behind poor booking and say, "You silly asses. We listened to you and look what happened. At least it wasn't as bad as 10 years ago ended up being ... so here; here's John Cena fighting a young up-and-comer everbody loves from NXT ... think *he'll* be the one Cena puts over and straps a rocket to?" (A person at the side does a spit take:) "Dude, I think he just separated his shoulder SIGNALING TO THE CROWD BEFORE EVEN GETTING INTO THE RING!!!!" "'He separated his shoulder signaling to the crowd before even getting into the ring.' "Marvelous. I love it when we don't even have to do anything."

  4. You can tell who doesn't watch SmackDown by people posting that Jimmy Uso is bad on commentary like it's new.

  6. If you listen really closely, you can hear Katee Sackhoff's fist repeatedly ricochet off her agent's skull. If Katee Sackhoff plays Jimmy to Rousey's Dalton and mentions the prison sex line during their finale fight, there's going to be a lot of pants free dudes in the theater.

  7. I'm just surprised there isn't a young black filmmaker who wants her to star in an indie project solely based on the fact she was in Love & Basketball fifteen years ago. There probably is one, but she might consider herself above doing crowdfunded stuff. Given that Love & Basketball barely made $27 million at the box office, I'm not sure there are many young black filmmakers who are even aware that Love & Basketball exists. Apparently, you don't know much about black culture. That's our fucking Casablanca apparently. Also, how much did The Last Dragon and Friday make at the box office? How about Love Jones or The Inkwell? You're not going to find bootleg numbers on Wikipedia. Sorry. Stuff like The Harder They Come? Yeah, I'm the only person I know who has seen that. Something like Shottas has apparently made its way through African-American neighborhoods for some strange reason though.

  14. The London Monarchs of the WLAF/NFL Europe were my first love, I had the jacket and everything. My first Super Bowl memory was of Packers vs Patriots in SB31. The pregame stuff over here focussed on the whole cheesehead thing and I simply couldn't get behind the foam wedge hat, plus the Patriots had "England" in their name. Despite me filling the house with Patriots merch, shirts, etc, my son follows the Cowboys. I feel like I've failed. I have a soft spot for the Titans as I love country music and I had man crushes on both Steve McNair and Vince Young. I'm also partial to those who played in NFL Europe/Europa, especially those who played for the Monarchs or Admirals such as Kurt Warner, Adam Vinatieri, Jake Delhomme etc.

  15. Killing Han makes sense thematically, especially since, when he broke his ankle, the studio said the script was very Han-centric. Qui-Gonn died in Episode I, Obi-Wan died in Episode IV (Spoilers!) The mentor, Han, sacrificing himself for the main characters follows that pattern. That said, I really don't want it to happen because Han is the best.

  19. If I never have to hear Jimmy Uso on commentary again, I'll consider it a life well-lived. Seeing Balor and Joe get main roster entrances and solid crowd reactions was great, though, and I really like the presentation of the tag tournament so far - showing that the tournament is a big enough deal that it spans NXT house shows, the regular Full Sail event, and an arena show.

  32. Can't believe I forgot to check Steelers. For some reason I was thinking "What teams am I fan of other than my own?" Anyway, Steelers are my team because born and raised in Pittsburgh. I also like the Giants because to me they're the NFC version of the Steelers: Original franchise, known for playing hard-nosed football with hellacious defense, classy old school owners (whose families combined to produce the greatest dividend of all: Kate Mara). If that wasn't enough, I absolutely totally hate and despise the Patriots with the fiery passion of a thousand suns so the fact they beat them twice in the Super Bowl - including ruining their undefeated season which we would've NEVER heard the end of - makes me a fan for life. Bills because they were in their "lose every Super Bowl" phase when I first started watching football and I feel sorry for them. Also, Doug Flutie is my all-time #1 favorite player (even including ex-Steelers) so them giving him a shot endeared them to me forever. Although on the flip side I'll forever say "Fuck you, Wade Phillips" for being the shortsighted shithead who decided Rob F'n Johnson deserved a playoff start over Flutie. Bucs because my folks retired down to Tampa. My dad remains loyal to the 'Burgh teams but he's too cheap for DirectTv and too lazy to go to bars so while he still sees a lot of games he's mostly stuck watching Tampa Bay. I'd like to see him watch good football.

  35. Way back in the days of professional short-arse Gary Imlach on channel 4 at stupid o'clock, before I even knew what was going on, watching Brett Favre at Lambeau just looked more fun than anyone else. More recently, I find myself admiring the ruthless dedication to victory by any means that Belichick and the Patriots get up to.
