I can't decide if Cody's gone completely off his rocker or if he was attempting some sort of weird voice affectation. That came off incredibly disingenuous.

Cody's segment was  bit long and felt disingenuous at times. That said, the material itself was good, and the crowd bought in so that is hat matters most.

Owen's segment with Ezekiel/Elias was fun for them leaning into the ridiculousness of it.

Sasha/Naomi vs. Rhea/Liv was decent. Hopefully next is better. Hate the idea of already breaking up Liv and Rhea. The chemistry is there and people seem to like the team. They should stick with it for a while.

Bianca's promo was nice. Was hoping there would be a bit of setup for her first challenger.

Veer's finally showing up on Raw was nice. Just having him attack the Mysterios was disappointing.

Ziggler/Bron was solid. Glad Bron is champ again though I don't know why they waited for Raw. Hopefully he holds up until November/December with them moving him via a Rumble win next year.

The six-man tag was nice while it lasted.

The tornado tag between AA and Street Profits was fun.

The final segment with Roman was a bit disappointing with no setup for what comes next, but it was nice seeing the crowd so into Roman.

Not a great show. Nothing particularly bad and some entertaining moments, but it definitely came across a comedown from the Wrestlemania high. I prefer when they take advantage to show something new.

LA Knight was the other guy getting mentioned during the Elias segment. So that's also an idea if there's a "real Ezekiel" that'll be displeased with Elias.

he looks like clean shaven 80s Steve Lombardi in the face.

Nuclear heat in 2017 as we thought Roman Reigns retired The Undertaker and getting cheered in 2022, a rarity since the Shield days but common since becoming the Head of the Table. Both deserved. The Tribal Chief.

Is this an endorsement of WWE and Roman Reigns, or an indictment?

He looks like a character actor from the '80s.

We've had Braun Strowman, he of many names.

We've had Batista Fashion Watch.

Now we need a rundown of what characters Ezekiel played in what 80s film and television programs.

Really interesting seeing a Cody Rhodes WWE promo.  Definitely upped the ante on the 'ACTING'!  Sliding in a few inappropriate faces that should, at least going forward, help garner some of that mixed reaction he claims to love.  'I'm an avid reader' was perfect alongside all the forced diction.  The hammy tears for the father plea...  This promo laid out quite nicely the fairly clear distinctions between how the big two in general present promos.  Especially those involving amped up emotion.
