No sense starting a new 2022 thread(yet, at least), but what are the plans for the weekly TV show? Archived footage? No show at all?

Well might as well make the new year thread official since

ROH announced that Supercard of Honor will be held April 1 (save your jokes)

ROH has revealed when and where the promotion will be returning from its hiatus.

It was announced today that Supercard of Honor 2022 will take place on Friday, April 1. The show is being held at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

"Tickets for the annual pay-per-view extravaganza go on sale Friday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m. Eastern/10 a.m. Central for HonorClub members, and Friday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. Eastern/10 a.m. Central for the general public," ROH wrote.

No matches have been announced for Supercard of Honor yet.

As part of a relaunch that kicks off in April, Ring of Honor will focus on both the men's and women's World titles and the Tag Team titles.

Bryan Alvarez first reported the news on Monday's Wrestling Observer Live.

Alvarez said that the three different titles will continue to be defended in various promotions like GCW and Impact as has been the case recently and that Ring of Honor has the rights to air those matches on their weekly TV show, essentially making them "old-school touring World champions" as he put it.

It's likely to be mid-March when those matches will begin to air on ROH's weekly TV show on Sinclair.

This news also means that the Pure title, the TV title and Six-Man titles will go dormant as they will no longer be defended.

After announcing in October that they would take the first quarter of 2022 off to reassess their future, ROH announced Monday that they will return at Supercard of Honor on Friday, April 1st in Garland, Texas, as part of WrestleMania weekend events. The promotion will run like an indie with non-contracted talent.

Kind of unfair after bringing back the Pure title. I think that would be an interesting belt to go around the indie loop. Let ZSJ or somebody hold it; I'm sure ROH would be drooling to have more New Japan footage in their library.

Either Dave or Alvarez (forget which) specifically made the point that the titles aren't being retired, but won't be in play at the start.  It's possible they'll be defended in other indies (Gresham and the Pure Title were specifically mentioned).

Also (Impact spoiler ahead)

Spoiler

Rok-C will be dropping the women's title to Deonna Purrazzo.  RoH doesn't expect Rok-C to be available to them come April.  Dave mentioned that she has another NXT tryout coming up soon.

Ok so wondering does this mean the Jonathan Gresham vs Frankie Thomas match next month at Battlezone  in Raleigh MS since that is for the World title it might air on the weekly ROH tv show?

IF so that is the oddest thing to happen in MS indie wrestling since the Heroes of Wrestling PPV in Bay St Louis.

I know they're focusing on the three main titles, so what does this mean?  (from the Terminus card)

Original ROH World Championship: Jonathan Gresham versus Josh Alexander

ROH World Championship: Bandido versus Baron Black

Are they just doing whatever until the actual reboot?

To @bobholly138question - possibly? It doesn't ensure that it will be taped and aired but it could be (or possibly highlights shown)

To @Technico Support question - it seems more likely that, with ROH's blessing, they are building to Gresham vs. Bandido for Supercard of Honor

Remember - Gresham is the one behind Terminus so it being done on that show makes sense
