BTW - the WWE has no mention of Johnny Knoxville being in the Rumble (at least on the website) so who knows what is happening there

Declared for the Men's Rumble so far

Angelo Dawkins
Montez Ford
Rey Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio
Austin Theory

Doing two Rumbles on the same show is just overkill. Considering how much they devalued the meaning of the men's Rumble (and of the women's Rumble as well), they could easily just do one of those (men or women) and the show would probably improve.

Don't be surprised if in a year or two - they start doing 2 day Rumbles with each Rumble on its own day

Run them simultaneously like the year MITB went all through WWE HQ. Men and women can't touch, but the matches run concurrently in the same ring. It would be the best worst thing ever...

Speaking from Dallas, D’Amore said: “WWE wanted it, Mickie wanted it and IMPACT Wrestling’s philosophy is always to work with other major promotions to create buzz for the fans. Everything is signed and agreed with WWE and IMPACT Wrestling – the only question is whether or not Mickie will enter one of WWE’s most historic annual matches as the reigning Knockouts World Champion.”

Meltzer has noted on a few occasions that because the WWE doesn’t consider Impact competition, it is why they have done stuff with them (folks appearing on documentaries, etc…)

I assume even with the NXT roster included, they'd be stretching to get enough pop-worthy names to fill out the match and giving Impact exposure is a zero-stakes move at this point (especially since it seems like they're done with AEW for the time being).

Good for Mickie.

Mickie coming in is surprising. I kind of figured she wouldn't with how WWE has annoyed her the last year or so with the releases. Still, its kind of neat to see WWE workign with another promotion however little.

Feels odd how the Bellas announce retirement only to show up every other year or so. honestly unless its just Nikki at 100% healthy or for the tag titles I don't really have interest in them popping up.

I assume at least 4 of Doudrop, Liv, Bianca, Sasha, and Xia get announced later after whoever faces Becky is decided and if Sasha is healthy enough. Anyone know if Bayley is healed up yet?

Roman/Seth will be interesting mostly to see who gets cheered.

Good for Mickie. After Trashbaggate, 2021 ended up being a great year for her with Empowerrr and then working with Impact. Nice to see her get this sort of recognition in 2022. Still wild to hear "Impact Women's Champion" on WWE TV though lol
