Tankathon update (record/SOS)

1. Detroit (0-9-1, .540)

2. New York Jets (2-8, .500)

3. Jacksonville (2-8, .508)

4. Houston (2-8, .514)

5. New York Giants (3-7, .514)

6. New York Jets via Seattle (3-7, .520)

7. New York Giants via Chicago (3-7, .520)

8. Philadelphia via Miami (4-7, .480)

9. Atlanta (4-6, .400)

10. Washington (4-6, .520)

11. Philadelphia (5-6, .462)

12. Carolina (5-6, .494)

That's everyone with a losing record. Seattle wins the tie over Chicago due to a worse conference record.

Kayvon Thibodeaux seems to be the consensus top rated player

That being said - someone is gonna take Matt Corral first overall

Yeah, this is the problem.  Thibodeaux looks like the best prospect but the Lions need a quarterback.

Trade the pick and all the others for Deshaun! What could go wrong??

With logic like that, you should be a defense attorney!

It's Detroit.  5 minutes after the trade is approved, the NFL would release a report that Watson actually had a stack of bodies in his backyard and penalize the Lions every future 1st round pick for making such a dumb trade.

What if the stack of bodies were all of Detroit's first-round busts?  Would that mitigate the circumstances?

That would be quite the stack, that's for sure.  At least it looks like they hit big on their 1st rounder this year.

If this year isn't the nail in the "we have to put the Lions on Thanksgiving because TRADITION" coffin nothing will.  When the Bears are the draw?

You know, we Lions fans don't have much, but at least let us keep the tradition that our team created.

Every team expect the Lions and Cowboys hate playing on Thanksgiving, that’s the biggest reason the Lions still get trotted out every year.

People gripe and complain about Detroit playing on Thanksgiving every year. And they have been for 35 years. Oddly, nobody complains that Dallas plays every year.

In other words, shut up.
