Dolfan in NYC
MEANWHILE... *Your* Columbia Lions defeated the wicked and EVIL Central Connecticut State Blue Devils to improve to 3-1! It's HOMECOMING~~ this week! The Lions victims this week? The vile and grotesque Quakers of the "University" of Pennsylvania (safety school!). Ugh, gross.
Dolfan in NYC
And just so it doesn't get lost in last week's thread, new AP rankings: 1. Georgia 2. Iowa 3. Cincinnati 4. Oklahoma 5. They'll never go away.
Kuetsar
And if anyone thinks that a unbeaten Cincy is getting a spot before a once beaten, you-know-who, I have a bridge to sell you. . . Edited October 11, 2021 by Kuetsar
JLowe
I'm still numb from Saturday. What a heartbreaking, draining loss.

If we’re being honest, the CFP would rank unbeaten Cincy below 1-loss Bama and Georgia and Iowa and Ohio State and Penn State (and Michigan and Mich State, if they make it that far), and probably Oregon, too. The Fighting Keith Lees are in better position to get a berth than any other G5 team in playoff history, but they still need a lot of help.
Brian Fowler
They need Georgia to beat Bama in the potential SEC game, and, assuming Satan still holds sway over college football, they'll either need undefeated Iowa to beat Ohio State or for the Buckeyes to just steamroll Iowa by 40+. And probably a two loss champion from either the Big 12 or Pac 12.

If Cincy is undefeated and the Sabans or the Buckeyes get through with only 1 loss, they'll be at home watching. Ohio State and Iowa will take care of themselves in the B1G championship game, but Oklahoma should be favored in every game from here on out. I don't see any reaason that Georgia or Alabama don't get in with only 1 loss. Georgia is a juggernaut on defense, and Alabama is the biggest name brand in the country.
Pete
Just for @Dolfan in NYC: Columbia is throwing it back to 1961 and their last Ivy League title. Roar Lions Roar.

Zimbra
Sure, Texas will have lost in humiliating fashion to both Oklahoma teams in back-to-back weeks, but all of their players will stand up for I've Been Working On The Railroad so who are the real winners here?
EVA
A truly horrendous performance by Florida to make LSU’s moribund offense look unstoppable. Surely this is the game that finally gets Grantham the door as DC.

hammerva
This Caleb Williams from Oklahoma is going to be a problem for a lot of teams based on what we have seen so far. Very impressed
EVA
Well…TCU has an awful defense this year, and Texas clearly has its own problems…but it does seem that he gives them a spark that they were missing with Rattler, and it’s probably saved their season. Clemson definitely wishes they had a freshman they could roll the dice with right now.
Brian Fowler
Looking at ahead, the Big Ten East is gonna finish real interesting. Every game between the four top ten teams (Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Ohio) happen in the final five weeks of the season.
RIPPA
The fact that the officials insisted that the Ole Miss/Tenn game had to finish is mind boggling Oh wait - its not because of gambling that clearly never happens in the NCAA
