Put Lio Rush anywhere near Malakai Black and I'm gonna start fantasy booking a path to the return of Blackheart.

Do we know who has the second most wins in the women's division? Is there any chance at all that someone beats Shida to 50?

According to AEW's rankings, Tay Conti is 39-7.

I really liked the 8 man.  There were a couple botches, and some silliness, but it was pretty much everything I wanted.  Not to beat a dead horse, but if they would have  pulled the trigger on Jungle Boy winning last week, the ending would have felt more earned.  My favorite part of the whole match was the dive train that ended with Tony hating Adam Cole.  Tony's disdain for Cole is my favorite running gag.

Punk needs a feud.  He's doesn't really feel like a part of the show, he's just a guy who comes out and talks every episode.  Miro doesn't have anything going on right now, I'd be down to see them in a program.

Arn Anderson cut a great promo last week...and a dud of a segment this week.

I always like Bobby Fish as a worker, but I don't know what his potential is as a singles worker at this point in his career.  With that said, this is the perfect debut for him.  Sammy was able to get his first title defense over a guy with a name in a good match andFish was able to give the champ a good match and show off what he can do for a new crowd.  Dan Lambert is fucking loathsome in all the right ways for a wrestling manager.  I've said it before and I'll say it again here, Paige VanZant jumps off of the screen and needs to make the jump into full time wrestler as soon as possible.

I really like the idea of a secondary women's title.  It's so clear who the main event women are that the rest of the women's roster feels directionless.  This will allow the Tay Conti/Penelope Ford level workers something to strive for, and provide a good milestone for the development of the greener women like Jade Cargill.

I like Darby Allen, but I'd prefer if I never heard him talk.  This was kind of a nothing match that seemed to be 90% commercial break.

I don't know who Ricky  Starks is, but this segment did not make me want to find out anything more about him.

I'm 40 years old.  I've been watching wrestling for as long as I can remember.  Somehow I didn't see the trophy shot coming in this match.  I may be an idiot.

We did not need the first Darby Allen interview segment, all we needed was this backstage beatdown.

Lio Rush is actually really good at sounding like a con man.

Britt Baker's segment was perfect.

Is Pac the most underutilized asset in wrestling?  It just seems like he's on TV half as much as anyone else.  This ladder match was kind of a discount version of a Money in the Bank in both good and bad ways.  The best part about these types of matches are that they are non stop crazy spotfests, but I'm the old fuddy duddy who thinks that they are unnecessarily shortening wrestlers careers.  This was chock full of crazy spots, but the only one that made me think it was too crazy was the air raid crash(?) Page gave to Pac.  Page is who I guessed the Joker would  be, because he's kind of the only one who makes sense to beat Omega.  Once the belt is off Omega, then the entire roster will kind of have more direction.  The Elite feud with Danielson and company doesn't need the belt.  It probably would have been best if Omega dropped the belt to Page at the last PPV.

If I were Tony Khan, I'd try to sign Paige van Zant and let Dan Lambert & co. hit the bricks.

An otherwise enjoyable show. I'm glad Adam Page was the joker. It was predictable, but the right move instead of a suprise for the sake of a surprise. I feel like Kenny/Page has to be at Full Gear.

I wonder if Christian was legit injured on the IndyTaker or if it was just an angle. Maybe it's setting up Christian turning on Jungle Boy after he drops another fall to the Elite.

I like Hikaru Shida starting her march to 50 wins with a loss. Serena Deeb was the perfect opponent to spoil the party for Shida. Hopefully, we get Shida getting more desperate along the way and resorting to dirty tactics.

It looked like Christian’s head was a good 3 feet from the ground, so I don’t think so. Maybe he got hurt earlier and that’s how they got him out of the match-it was a little weird that the announcers didn’t stress his injury or the uneven odds more.

Anyway, I really liked JR saying what I was thinking about them having a trophy for Shida before the match and love that she ended up losing. Deeb being so vicious in the match was also a nice touch and made the match better.

I thought Sammy and Fish had a really good match. The crowd signing Jericho’s song to drown out Lambert was probably the best use of that by the crowd so far —Jericho going toe to toe with the former UFC HW champ and causing him to bail was a little ridiculous though.

Glad Hangman is back and won. Looking forward to his first interaction with Adam Cole and winning the title.

Loved even more Paige Van Zant's outfit tonight.  Definitely cute!  Only thing I've enjoyed of the American Top Team stuff so far.

She had a pretty great hot pink suit/black lace bra combo on a couple weeks ago when they did the Jericho beat down. Definitely the sartorial champion of the group.

Very, very compromised attempt at looking this up on Cagematch.

Nyla = 46

Conti = 39 (Most wins in AEW 2021)

Rosa = 36

Swole = 33

Britt = 32

Red Velvet = 32

Ford = 28

I'd say there's no good reason not to run Shida vs. Nyla back when they're both 49 wins deep. Maybe as one of the matches in the TBS Title Tournament? I don't see either winning it so it would be a good feather in their cap.

No lie, I wonder if her being completely cheated out of a Dancing With The Stars win makes her a favorite with Jericho. She's got nowhere to go in combat sports and she's money any time a camera is on her. Think she can learn how to work that Switch Kick into a viable TV finisher?

Liked the opener but these Elite multi-man matches feel like the same match. It's a good formula and the live crowd loves them but there's nothing really memorable about them. At least Christian didn't come back out.

Not gonna lie, if I was there and Punk teased cheesesteaks, I'd be pissed.

The fact Arn was easily able to sneak on to Cody's property and start a barrel fire leads me to believe that's not the first time he's done that.

Sammy vs Fish was decent, wouldn't mind Fish joining up once he finishes in MLW. The aftermath and Lambert promo got me excited for the first Jericho match since Blood and Guts so I'm excited for that. (Annnnnnd they signed Fish)

Darby vs Comorato was decent. Liked the backstage beatdown and the Pinnacle wearing masks for plausible deniability.

Really liked Shida vs Deeb because everything they did looked like it hurt. Can see there being a losing streak angle for Shida, just keeping that 50th win out of reach until she cheats or gets revenge on Deeb.

The Casino ladder match had some sick bumps and spots but was also a bit sloppy and rushed. Nothing mattered until Hangman showed up and blew the roof off the place which was weird because some people on the internet told me he'd be cooled off by not being on TV. The finishing sequence with Hangman and Mox looked awkward since it looked like Mox got a Charley horse suddenly and just kinda fell off. Loved Hangman winning and I'm looking forward to the addition of him into the Danielson-Omega story.

Now that's a fucking picture. It's like when the horror villain comes out of nowhere.

It's going to look sick as hell when someone finally turns the tables on Black and jumps him during his entrance with all the backlighting and shit.

Bryan Danielson, CM Punk and Malakai Black shouldn't lose for a while in single matches but it'll be interesting to see who the first losses come from. Figure one will at least lose to Adam Hangman Page when he beats Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship.

Great show as usual! Opener was a blast as expected. Jungle Boy's over the top rana was nuts. Sammy/Fish was solid, good for Bobby getting signed quick. Love that we are gonna get Junior Dos Santos in a match. Agreed with others on Paige VanZant needing to make the switch to pro wres. Also still wanna see more Kayla Harrison, she was fantastic when she appeared a while back. Glad Starks/Cage is finally happening.

TBS title is interesting, gonna need a bigger focus on the division if it will be what the TNT is to the World title. Shida/Serena was fantastic as I hoped. Also figured Shida was losing once they showed the trophy as sort of a swerve. Great to see both back on Dynamite finally, it had been way too long. Great near fall on the Deebtox, though I was shocked that Shida tapped out. I look forward to any others trying to beat Shida to 50.  Main event ruled. Love the pop for Hangman. the super Dead Eye off the ladder was absolutely insane.

Nice to see after all the twists and turns, everything comes back to Hangman/Omega after all, the way it always seemed destined to be. Thought Hangman came off great in the little post-show promo on the Rhodes to the Top break. Awesome night of wrestling.

36 minutes in to my west coast feed, not reading anything but I’m gonna see Daniel Garcia wrestle Minoru Suzuki 2 hours after the east coast watches him wrestle cm punk. Gotta say that’s pretty damn impressive. And awesome.

AEW World Championship #1 Contender Tournament Final: Kenny Omega vs. Adam Page, AEW Full Gear 2020.

You'd think it'll be:

AEW World Championship: Kenny Omega vs. Adam Page, AEW Full Gear 2021.

Wow, ive missed long term storytelling, so glad its back.  If Page really does dethrone Omega as the final to their awesome feud, im totally fine with Miro being the first person to get a shot at the belt, because "my god, looks down on alcoholics."

And something about how he rides horses and his wife rides him.
