AEW - SEP 2021

Going in blind, I thought the Uno/QT match was the main event, until they showed "Up Next" graphic for Pac/Sydal. Preferred it to the actual main, too. Not a huge fan of Andrade's so far, and he was too much the focal point considering he was hundreds of feet from the ring.

And Robert Anthony has looked good every time he's shown up.

  • CM Punk told the New York Post about potentially wrestling Daniel Bryan in AEW: “That’s somebody that I look at and I go, man wrestling him was always fun. It was never a headache and God I would like to do that again. I would like to do that again soon. It’s a big deal. The guy was in the WrestleMania main event. He’s freshly removed from television. He’s a big deal. He’s a very, very big deal and I think that signals to pro wrestling fans that this is the place to be. This is what I want to watch.”

Cool how CM Punk wants to also wrestle Bryan Danielson in AEW.

That’s good that they’re mixing it up, three shows in a row with just “Tonight we’ll hear from CM Punk” starts to feel repetitive and I was worried it was gonna feel like early AEW Sting where it seemed he did the same segment for months.

Well, if past experience is anything to go by, we're going to have to come up with some things for Mr Punk to say, aren't we?

And by we, I do mean specifically us, on this board.

I'm pretty sure he's got years of stuff built up...

(But I mean, wondering whether Ken the Box could even fit through the forbidden door is probably the way to go, right?)

Okay. I am smart enough not to fanboy for billionaires, but this guy makes it tough sometimes.

I'm a Tony Khan fanboy and have no shame in admitting that. I don't personally know any billionaires, but if I did, I feel like TK would be one of the more likable ones.

Where's Stu Greyson? He has been, as they say, conspicuous by his absence.

They're playing up the dissention among the Dark Order. IIRC, it was briefly mentioned as Evil Uno had nobody in his corner against QT Marshall on Dark. Hopefully, we're not getting a Dark Order split. Maybe they'll be unified again when Adam Page comes back in the right mental state to go after the world title.

Is it possible none of them wanted to have to watch a QT Marshall match?
