Go2Sleep
You won't come up with too many recent examples because there hasn't been a major company for anyone to jump to for most of the last 20 years. Other than Nash, the biggest examples in the same vein are Bret going from Survivor Series main event to WCW in less than a month, and in the inverse, Benoit winning the WCW title at Souled out and being Raw a week later.
John from Cincinnati
Angle was in a world title match (not the main event) at Mania and was in TNA by the end of that year. Not as huge, but it was a big deal for TNA to have him. Biggest example of this I can think about between WCW ending and now. Jeff Hardy also went frown SummerSlam main event to TNA by January of the next year. Edited September 8, 2021 by John from Cincinnati

Jrag
Didn’t get to watch live, but saw the whole show late last night. Rewatched Punk/Darby this morning and enjoyed it more the 2nd time around. As good as anything else on the card in my opinion and that’s a big compliment from me because I loved the tag match and the main event. Punk had the most ridiculous face when he was applying the abdominal stretch. Loved it. Can’t wait for the inevitable down the line heel run where that’s all he does every match. Jrag
Also, no more top rope Canadian destroyers plz. That slow motion replay made me cringe. Danielson is going to be amazing and I love him, but we all know he’s going to land on his head too much here in the next few months. 3

While describing his love of Vince McMahon in his post-show media availability, Bryan said Vince could be too protective of him. And then went on to talk about his love of the physicality of wrestling. He seems eager, if not to fulfil your exact prediction, to really get hot and heavy in there. Not sure how worried I should be. But, ya know... Edited September 8, 2021 by John from Cincinnati

The Natural
Watched Kenny Omega vs. Christian Cage back as I was tiring a tad as it went out. I stand by my initial assessment that the Rampage match was the better of the two. 1

RandomAct
This was my literal first time watching AEW, and came away pretty impressed. My MOTN was Punk/Darby with Kingston/Miro as a runner up. I even came out liking *both* a Young Bucks match AND a Kenny Omega match, which I never thought I'd say. It helps that the main event felt more like a big time Christian match than a big time Kenny match, other than the ridiculous stupid table spot in the first 3 minutes. Also, as a first time viewer, I never felt lost thanks to the very good commentary(Which honestly reminded me of myself and Brad Stutts in the old CWF days). Going to c&p my overall thoughts from my thread on Twitter. Quote So I came away from All Out feeling like I want to tune in to the next show, and that is genuinely the most effusive praise I can give to any wrestling show these days. It had nothing to do with the returns or surprises, but the overall production and variety. I never felt like I watched the same match twice, and a lot of my hesitation to ever watch AEW was proven false, and I'm not afraid to admit that. Do I like all of it, or all of the acts? No, and there are still things that I found to be p dumb, but that is the territory now. Was this the best show ever? No it wasn't and I'm not having that conversation. However, I'd rank it with Bash at the Beach 94 and 96, and Wrestlemania XIV as being among the most significant if they continue the momentum. Those shows were big breakthrough events that signified that they were about to take over as the top brand, and All Out felt like that. Other things like production and commentary I already mentioned, and it's those little things that I look for. In short, AEW did their job and made me want to give a second viewing, and that should always be the goal.

Also they don't need to rush him to the title. - One on One with Adam Cole "All Out was meant to be MY night!" - Tag with Christian to take on the Bucks on a big Dynamite/Rampage after they beat him down during/after the Cole match. - Tag with Christian to take on the Good Bros on a hyped Impact or Impact PPV - One on One with Adam Cole. No interference. That should allow plenty of time to bring back Adam Page and build up his world title win, probably at Revolution. Then Bryan finally gets to take on Omega in a #1 contenders match at Double or Nothing and you can build to Adam Page vs Bryan Danielson in a massive face/face main event at All Out next year. The question is - When does Punk v Danielson happen? No clue on that last part, but Punk is on the record on multiple podcasts/media interviews as wanting to tag with Danielson against the Young Bucks, so I assume that happens sooner rather than later. I still think they should do my massive 14 man tag idea at Grand Slam. Just devote the entire last hour of the show to that match, fuck it. LoneWolf&Subs
You know rewatching that Casino Battle Royale, and thinking back to the last one, I’m actually more positive about them, than when they started doing them the first two years. They’re Royale Rumbles, with everybody coming in, and getting eliminated in under 30 minutes. That beats an hour plus of a Rumble for me. Being there live for these last two shows, they were actually some of my highlights for those events. I think this last one might’ve topped the previous one too. Just some really clever eliminations near the end added to it. They probably got their shit together with the road agenting, or coaching(as I believe they go by “Coaches”in AEW) for these matches. I don’t think you’ll ever stop wrestlers who insist on returning with head injuries to ever not avoid taking wild bumps. Look at that Christian match. That Rain-Trigger he took was pretty flush to the noggin, along with other head rattling spots.

I don't think the Casino Battle Royales have to be an issue because I like that they are basically shorter Royal Rumbles. The biggest issue is how the entrants are treated really. Announcing who is in each suit before hand would be a huge help and possibly staggering the suit entrants by 30 seconds or so could help to so each entry gives the crowd a chance to breath. Throwing groups out there does help stop the trope of new entrant hits their signature spots as soon as they get in that has plagued Rumbles for years now. Zakk_Sabbath
Though I loved the Rumble, its kind of it's own thing. I was always a fan of the non-Rumble everyone starts in the ring type of BR, so I feel like four at a time is a nice happy medium between the two. AxB
Also, it's a nice pun on the title of a Bond Movie, that represented a new and more interesting reboot of the whole Bond franchise (in much the same way as AEW represents a reboot of big time American Pro-Wrestling).
LoneWolf&Subs
The only problem with doing a buffer between entrants in each suite is you’re looking to add roughly 6 minutes onto the match for dramatic presentation. The best idea I can come up with is if AEW sets up stages that have elevated trap doors on multiple sides of the ringside area. So all the wrestlers pop up fast but in a dramatic way with smoke, and pyro blasting. I’m thinking this… Yes even steal the “Who’s bad” sounding back-up track for each entrant.
LoneWolf&Subs
You guys didn’t see this on the live broadcast, but when the first finish of the Jericho match happened, referee Paul Turner was milking a contemplating walking away guilty and letting the finish happen to a fan pleaing for him to change the finish before snitching to Edwards.
