This just happened on national TV a few weeks ago with Aubrey Edwards telling Jade Cargill where the hard cam was after a match.  And this was AFTER Jade spent a good deal of the match mugging to the hard cam, as she is wont to do.

nb: The Cage had a lot of give. Despite getting decent height on the lift jump and a lot of force on the push-off, by the time the punch landed, Lady Frost's foot was back on the floor.

Hoping to get one with Tay Conti, Ikaru Shida, Thunder Ross and Dr. Britt Baker in AEW. Be funny to get training vignettes of Baker's preparation for such a thing.

Hayabusa had a great look, great theme song and creator of two of my favourite moves, the Falcon Arrow and Phoenix Splash. Tragic what happened to him.

Dan Aubriot/Remy Bayle vs Vincete Castillo (Quasimodo) and Pancho Zapata (Joachim La Barba)

Zapata with a standing leg splitter on Bayle only to take a stooge bump out of it:

They don't always make for great gifs, but sometimes it's the simple things that create a real mood here. This got over how relentless the heel onslaught was, while still getting Bayle over as competent, an escape attempt but not quite a hope spot. It's not a spot at all, actually, which is, I think, something missing from modern wrestling. Not everything has to be a spot. Sometimes you can just have a moment or a trend, a continuation. If something like this would happen today it wouldn't feel so much a part of a wave but instead something with a distinct beginning, middle, and end. That makes it all feel less organic.

I always forget that Jeff Hardy had two Battlarts matches before the WWF.

No other OMEGA guys came over, he didn't work anywhere else in Japan, just wrestling Ikuto Hidaka and Mach Junji in front of 100 people and going home.
