It's not a title defence as "defence" doesn't fit England's mentality.

It is the fourth time in a row England have been bowled out in this competition and they are getting worse.

Against Afghanistan they made 215, against South Africa 170, Sri Lanka 156, India 129.

I was listening to the India innings this morning, thinking that England had done pretty good to keep India below 250. Who was the fool?

The last few games, they look completely flummoxed by the idea of having to hit the ball with their bats, so that they can score points - known as 'runs' - without getting 'out'

Sri Lanka, who are at least above England as this stand because they've actually won two games.

Also, South Africa were taken to the Jadeja Zone and made to look like they were England, trying to chase. It turns out that India have other, non-Kohli players; it's just the Indian public don't seem to care unless they have a bat.

at least Matthews took Shakib's wicket in the 2nd innings.  would have been more spicy if he was still captain and had to join Shakib for the post match interviews.
