That number sounds nuts but I hope it happens. There's definitely a market for cricket here, even if the stadiums aren't there yet (if they ever will be).

You would think the number of expats from the UK, Caribbean and Indian subcontinent would be a good start for viewers.

Unless it’s like the famous Jack Kent Cooke about Canadians in LA being people that didn’t like hockey.

Dayumn, what a couple days of cricket.

Sri Lanka shock England

Afghanistan run India SUPER close

and then that New Zealand-West Indies finish. Holy shit.

edit: Windies were dead and buried, down to their last wicket, needing something like 47 to win. Braithwaite went nuts hitting sixes, then with seven balls left, a six would win it for the Windies, and (fast forward to 5:20 to see what happens)

They got the first one, although India really with some lackadaisical batting at the beginning and then again at the end.

Yes. England vs. New Zealand tomorrow.

If you take that old saw about "Double the score after 30 overs, and that's what you'll get for the full 50 overs", England are on pace for 388.

Eek.

An England win would just about eliminate Pakistan, but a big enough win puts New Zealand's place into a small bit of question (the combined swing between the two games is something like 400 runs)(
