Strong disagree and I cannot believe this Fujiwara Armbar disrespect.

Ligerbomb, Nagata Locks I-III, Michinoku Driver.  These are all good names.

Spicolli Driver??

Edge's first finisher was called (The) Downward Spiral. Not a huge NIN fan, but I think that's still a cool name. I guess the problem was just that he didn't spin with the opponent, so there was no spiral, it just went straight downward.

My move name rankings would be: Complete Shot > Flatliner > Downward Spiral

Can we agree the worst name was that extremely brief period where Bob Holly's Falcon Arrow was called the Hollycaust?

Just a total case of, What the fuck were they thinking?

"Falcon Arrow 1942" was a little too on the nose.

Speaking of moves with tasteless names (AND THE SAME GUY DID IT!), when Bob Holly teamed with Billy Gunn for a little while, their finisher was the Gunn Holly Bomb.  The GHB for short.

I always thought a tiger bomb was the none sit-out version, basically a powerbomb with the undertook setup like Malenko would use.

That's just a double underhook power bomb, come on now.

What if you only use it against Canadian wrestlers?

You can, but you need to be really polite about it.

Okay. The Tequila Sunrise was Konnan's lazy submission. The Tequila Suplex I always thought was the half Nelson suplex. Correct?

EDIT:And can someone please post a gif of a Towerhacker Bomb? I've heard the name but have no clue what it is

I'm also partial to location based moved.

Does anyone know why it's a Boston Crab?

Texas Cloverleaf works on a few levels.

Both Alabama Jam and Alabama Slam roll off the tongue nicely

E: This whole conversation is reminding me of @Rev Ray's Big Book of Wrestling Moves that was on the front page way back when.  I used to spend hours reading through that when I was too broke to buy tapes and GIFs weren't a thing yet and trying to imagine the moves based on his descriptions and their weird-ass names.

Y'all covered the good stuff but I was always a sucker for Taz calling his suplexes a Tazplex.

The T-BONE TAZPLEX is a great name.

Really old school Canadian stuff: Whipper Billy Watson called his sleeper hold the "Canuck Commando Unconscious."

AWWWESOME.

I'm a huge NIN fan, so I still call that move the Downward Spiral.

This conversation begins and ends with Sliced Bread #2

I'm going to be a bit of a buzzkill, but I never found this clever.  In a world where we have things called brainbusters and doomsday devices, why the hell would I be impressed by sliced bread?

Did I miss a Fire Thunder Driver mention?

Pretty much every driver is cool isn’t it? Are there any bad drivers? Either names or the moves themselves?

Viagra Driver is pretty bad. Especially if you'd already heard of the Niagra Driver.

I like the SLEEPER HOLD.

It bugs me when it gets called a "rear naked choke" in pro wrestling. Let's go back to our roots.

I also hate worked submissions that we're supposed to believe are shoot submissions when the logic behind them are completely different.  A rear naked choke will put anyone on earth out in about 10 seconds, a sleeper takes a least a full minute.  Not only that, a fucking rear naked choke is illegal in professional wrestling, a sleeper hold is not a choke.

Just remembered a great one. Ghost Shadow, MAD SCIENTIST BOMB.

This is high on the list of moves that make me ask, "who the fuck agrees to take that move?"  It looks like a move that either lands perfectly or results in injury with no stops in between.
