Be interesting to see how Darby Allin/Sting vs. Brian Cade/Ricky Starks turns out with Sting's age and neck. Also interested in whether we'll get an AEW World Championship match or Omega in a six/eight man tag. I think it'll be the later but I can see Omega vs. Moxley III here.

Shame it isn't a Saturday PPV. So much better. My Birthday is on the 6th of March so I'll be watching UFC 259's main card in the early hours of Sunday morning then AEW Revolution in the early hours of Monday morning UK time. I'll be fucked!

I believe it’s going to end up as...

FOR THE AEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - The Inner Circle Ortiz & Santana (c) vs. The Inner Circle MJF/Chris Jericho at Revolution PPV.

Result being Ortiz, Santana, MJF & Wardlow putting the ultimate beat down on Jericho at PPV. Jericho is off for a bit and comes back as a face for one last run as a full time wrestler.

Omega at Revolution is a huge question mark for me. I don’t see Omega vs Archer and I don’t see Omega vs Moxley III. But again, I don’t know what I see for the AEW World Championship match.

The Good Brothers vs Young Bucks I think is a given for Revolution.

So THAT announcement on AEW Dynamite just now...

Spoiler

Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley III for the AEW World Championship in an exploding barbed wire deathmatch. I thought Mox vs. Omega III may happen here. Nobody would have predicted that stipulation match.

Happy birthday @The Naturalenjoy!

Also have to agree on the Saturday PPV. It's one of the things that give AEW events that kind of special boxing/MMA vibe (I refuse to say b*g f*ght f*ll) much like some of the early NXT Takeovers. I feel like I'm watching a show for actual adults

Cheers, @Zakk_Sabbath. Appreciate it.

Just want to say that I love the graphics AEW is using for this show with the full body fighting game-like images. Really cool.

Thanks for bringing that up. I really like them as well, did the same for the inaugural AEW Revolution last year.

I love AEW but I’m not loving this Revolution Card as we sit here today. It’s not grabbing me. Exploding barbwire death match with Omega & Moxley makes the World Championship Match more interesting...but the entire PPV Card is missing something and I don’t know what it is exactly.

Dark Order matches? Orange Cassidy? Jurassic Express?

With only six matches announced, I'm sure they're not done filling this card out.

I guess they could be holding off the straight up Jungle Boy/Luchasaurus vs FTR match for the PPV, as they haven't done that one since the first Dynamite after All Out. But with them running the more attraction-y six-man with Tully on Dynamite, that straight up tag might feel like a step down.

Gotta figure something with the Kip/Miro vs OC/Chuck feud ends up on this show.

Also entirely possible guys from either of those issues end up in the ladder match. Good lord do I never need to see another pointless, dangerous, overcrowded, overdone ladder match. But we're getting one.

If they still need more after that, they could always run a Rosa vs Britt rematcth if neither is Shida's challenger.

Thank goodness for the attraction of a main event though. On a so-so card like this, you need something like that to be the thing.

I like Archer and love Kingston, but we've seen it twice already. A very good match where Archer murdered him and Kingston only won because three people helped him, and a not great lumberjack match where Archer killed him and won. I'm not sure how you sell a rubber match other than "watch Lance Archer murder Eddie Kingston again."

I think the ladder match will include PAC and Fenix and maybe someone from NJPW (KENTA?).

Archer/Kingston, FTR/Jurassic Express, Miro/Cassidy, some match involving two of Thunder Rosa/Baker/Deeb/Riho fill out the main card and pre-show.

Can they really make half that ladder match Death Triangle members? Wouldn’t having Archer and Kingston in the ladder match make more sense? Granted Felix makes more sense than Penta at this point too but what can you do?

I get that Kingston isn't an ultra athlete but it does feel like they need to kind of rehab him a bit after being emasculated by Moxley and Archer multiple times.

Guessing they figure Eddie Kingston can take losses without taking too much of a hit and he can build himself back up on his out of this world promo ability. Kingston needs to win more matches though. Eddie Kingston also needs to win the AEW World Championship at some point. If I was the booker, he and Adam Hangman Page are my next two AEW World Champions after Kenny Omega drops it to Hangman.

I see it going Hangman -> MJF -> Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy finally beating MJF and it's for the gold is too good of a story to miss out and they can't hold off on MJF for too long and that'll probably take 2 years to get to. Kingston is 39. If I were to guess, it doesn't look great for the world title but I can definitely see the TNT belt on him.

My hope is that Omega will interfere at NJPW Strong and cost Moxley the match and title and then soften Moxley up for Revolution with like a weed whacker.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez will then spend half an hour shitting on the deathmatch for how reckless and dangerous it was, and then rate it 6 1/2 snowflakes.

He also did a job for PAC in there.  I said it a few weeks ago that if they want to just make him 2021 Eddie Gilbert, where he's a great mouthpiece who talks shit for his charges but then is more often then not beaten in a fair fight, then they're doing it right.  Personally, I think that's a waste.

He's actually looking in decent shape now, Eddie. Seems to have stripped a lot of pounds. Also feel they're wasting him. Kingston in the DDP-circa-Triad phase would I think be a cool look for him; Butcher & Blade would work that trio gimmick well too w/ their contemporary-Gangs of New York-style if they didn't have them dressed up like a couple of impoverished addicts in that silly current garb.
