MLB SPRING TRAINING 2021

Well the Mickey Callaway fiasco has mushroomed into a much bigger story.

At the time the allegations came out and the Mets were firing Callaway, the Indians claimed they had no knowledge of claims against him.

Well The Athletic dropped a story today saying that yes, the Indians most assuredly knew.

That has in turn lead to what appears to be the (continued?) implosion of the Francona family

Safe to say Thanksgiving is gonna be awkward for awhile for the Franconas.  Terry sounds like a quality human being - not.

Since the MASN deal the only way to watch Nationals games is wait until it comes on ESPN or MLB.    Seriously when did ESPN broadcasting become so awful.  It is basically a talk show with a baseball game on the background.  If it wasn't for the name on the jerseys you probably wouldn't even know who is pitching or hitting half the time

You can always tell exactly how many bills to pay Jose Canseco has based off of his twitter and it rules, though I miss his days of wild alien conspiracy theories.

You can hire Jose to hang out with you. A guy on the PSA baseball card forum did just that. Paid him to hang out with him, sign autographs, and wear jerseys, all of which ended up in custom cards the guy made. The cards were extremely cool but...

He was an all-star in 2019. Guy with an 0-3 or 0-4 UFC record is still a big enough free agent too get chants every time Shane McMahon speaks.

Never fails - General Managers looking at one year instead of multiple. He had a good year in 2019 and was not good, or worse, in 2017 and 2018 and barely played in 2020. Does he have a chance to be helpful? Sure. But a "big" free agent? C'mon.

To be fair - while the Rangers COULD have 100% capacity they aren't GOING to have 100% capacity.

It would be the same as say, Tampa, announcing they would have 100% capacity.

And on the other end of the spectrum, the Nats, at the moment, are currently the only team in the league still not allowed to have any fans (the DC's mayor has said she will reconsider closer to the start of the season)

And here comes Surge 3 - The Revenge

?

More like Globe Death Field, amirite?

I can't wait for the sheer hilarity of those poor stadium workers trying to enforce  a mask requirement on 40,000 flaming idiots. Because anyone who'd willingly going to this game must be 2-3 sammiches short of a picnic.
