Would have preferred they stopped the dumbass teasing and used the Chambers to set up Wrestlemania challengers. The Natural Posted February 9, 2021 Share Posted February 9, 2021 So there's an Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship, thinking the second will be for one of the womens, probably the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship. I'd say that's because WWE wants to prolong the Royal Rumble match winners choice of the championship they're going for. As it looks like Edge vs. Roman Reigns for Smackdown's WWE Universal Championship, we're not going to get a Gauntlet match involving Daniel Bryan and that sucks. Wanted Bryan to go long in it. Smackdown Elimination Chamber is a lot better than RAW's. Thinking Cesaro wins it, faces Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship saving Reigns/Bryan for a bigger show and when Bryan's "fresh". RIPPA Posted February 13, 2021 Share Posted February 13, 2021 Cesaro is in Nakamura's "spot" which was originally Cesaro to start with Meltzer noted last week that long run in the gauntlet match was Bryan's idea for Cesaro and the only reason they didn't do it was because Cesaro hadn't signed his new deal. I believe they were a ratings draw across all three shows. I'd have kept together a little longer, say a month or two more before splitting them.
