Tom Petty hits are such a radio staple I would not be surprised if Rock the Bells is contractually obligated to play "Last Dance with Mary Jane" or one of the others.

The radio station where I’m eating just playing Let’s Hear It for the Boy, followed by Footloose.

I did hear say someone say the country was set back 40 years this week. Guess this station took it to heart.

update: Less than an hour later, they also placed the Flashdance theme by Irene Cara. If I wait long enough, will I hear Maniac?

Might as well make it 50 years, then we can listen to K Billy's Supersounds of the 70s.

From Zero comes out on Friday but another video was posted by Linkin Park today. If the four songs that have been released are any indication, this album is going to be a banger.

Listened to the new The Cure album last night. The sound was amazing but there were only a couple of tracks that really resonated with me. Still, more than I expected.

I haven't gotten a chance to listen yet but the next few days are supposed to be suitably gloomy. The first single was good but didn't grab me.

Drone:notdrone (sp?) was really good and one of the last two tracks as well!

Ok, people who are into hip hop, can you name an 80's or 90's rap star whose general later material is lame but has TWO better bad ass tracks than LL Cool J's Deepest Bluest (Shark's Fin) and It's Time for War? I'll wait!

I'd have to go back and check but I'm pretty sure Ice Cube has a late career song that goes in. That's going to be my project for Monday I think.

Ice Cube has a ton of bangers and never fell off IMO.

Joey and myself  went to see Iron Maiden  in San Antonio this past Sunday as tourists. I can not recommend them , great and welcoming fans. Stellar show. As a Maiden newbie  standout songs were The Prisoner , May I play with madness and Wasted Years . Great show.

My most played song on YouTube this year was…

Number one band was...

i would be super interested to see what my top song/band were. Unfortunately, my music listening is spread across multiple devices, none of which track play count (except iTunes on my home computer, but i've had to upgrade PCs twice this year, so even that is out the window). i couldn't even fathom a guess.

What’s funny is I prob hadn’t listened to it in months. But it was in most of my YouTube generated playlists that I just click on when I play  stuff on the laptop/console.

I'd be down for that.

If Lamp? Doesn’t want to do it I’ll do it but I’ll probably hate everything
