Did Stan work WWF within that time frame? Or (what appears to be, bottom bottom left) Killer Khan?

Khan and Hogan had a run in summer/early fall '87 (though didn't wrestle at MSG). Including a Stretcher Match that I'm not sure made tape.

He looks like the type of guy Vince would want to have a heel run against Hogan. He's obviously a really good babyface and good at being the Patriot type but if he came in to WWF as a heel he could've worked more closely like he did in UWF.

He looks so menacing here.  He looked that way during his first run in WWF before the Iron Sheik incident. He didn't get too goofy until he was brought back

Great photo! Unfortunately the real opportunity for a classic pic happened like two seconds after this was taken, as WALTER proceeded to chop the living fuck out of Balor's chest. Surprisingly, that smile still couldn't be wiped off, even by that!

TJPW went back to their old mat based style again (except this time and next time...no fans for this kind of show anymore) next mat show will be in march

Yves Amor/Pierre Rouanet vs Serge Gentilly and Isha Khan

Gentilly was pretty great here but I love this triple shot combo.

Khan would use this same sort of spinkick to get Amor (on the apron here) to bump right out of the ring shortly thereafter, but this has a clearer camera angle:
