RazorbladeKiss87
I can say for sure that the RazorbladeKiss87 Hall of Fame will certainly include Sid and Hyabusa.

If I'm being honest, my HoF would raise a lot of eyebrows with the induction of Ian Rotten but I think I could handle the push back. 2

Ian is a POS but also put on some entertaining matches. I get it. More than likely I am one of the few that would put Mike Boyette in the HOF.
odessasteps
While I can appreciate the sentiment, I would say Mike Jackson would be my carpenter of choice to go in the HOF.

Without him and Zandig, I don't think the American death match scene becomes as big. I know some people would prefer it not to have but it is what it is. Without the early 2000s foundation, I don't think GCW gets to where it is (is their profile decreasing?)

Curt McGirt
Read the ballot. This one looks pretty easy to guess this year. Lots of dead guys. If Fujiwara doesn't go in, fuck you guys. If Takayama doesn't go in, fuck you guys. If Tiger Jeet Singh DOES go in, definitely fuck you guys
RazorbladeKiss87
I'm thinking that the Hart Foundation being on the ballot is a stretch. Am I wrong? Even though I have very little desire to see him at this point, Punk should be in for modern wrestling. His drawing power is proven, as are his merch sales. All timer in promos, in my opinion. In ring might be the only real strike against him.
Dewar
They have a lot of tag teams on the ballot (Hart Foundation, Tully & Arn, Hijo del Santo & Octagon) that don't really deserve to be there.
odessasteps
Ive long argued that Tully and Arn as a team are not deserving. I'd be much more inclined to both for either as singles.
Hamhock
I really want Sid to get in due to sympathy/nostalgia momentum from his recent passing, solely to annoy Meltzer. Not because I have anything against Dave; I just think it’s funny when he gets belligerent.

I can’t see many of Dave’s core voters voting for Sid.

Tully and Arn were great as a team, but they only teamed for like two years. The Killer Bees had more longetivity.
odessasteps
It’s very possible Arn and Jerry Stubbs were a team longer than Tully and Arn. I’d have to sit down and do the math.

Dewar
If you wanted to induct Ole, Arn, Ric, Tully and JJ as the Horsemen, I have time to listen to that case. I feel it is a much better case than Tully and Arn as a tag team.
odessasteps
Follow-up: cursory research shows Arn and Stubbs were probably a team less than a year.

odessasteps
It took forever just to get tags as a choice. I did say today whether the shelf life of most tag teams means their Time together should be treated like dog years. 3 years as a tag = 10 years as a single. I mean, even the Dennis and Bobby version was only around for 3+ years. Not everyone in the territory had the staying power of the Samoans or RnR. I guess things may be different in the modern era, where you’ve had the USOs and the New Day, for example.

It's hard picking any particular Horsemen unit for the HOF considering longevity; the above-referenced original group only lasted a year and a half, for example. This is a good graphic from Wikipedia: Crazy that the latter years WCW group lasted pretty much longer than any other. I guess if you want to get fuzzy with it, you induct the 1986-1989 members as "The Four Horsemen," as that period is when the gimmick was the hottest. Anything after that was lame, in hindsight and taking off the nostalgia glasses.
