For those wondering - it was "Christmas In July" Night hence the uniform he was wearing

It is believed to be the longest HR hit since Adam Dunn hit a 535 FT HR in 2004

The longest minor league HR is credited at 582 FT. That was in 1987

Side note - elevation at that park in Amarillo is just over 3600 FT (For context - Denver is 5279 FT. Phoenix is 1086 FT)

Ridiculously, the only other time it happened was when Tyrone Horne did it in 1998 for the Arkansas Travelers. Who were then the Double-A club for... the Cardinals.
