Lot of stuff announced...

Kenoh's own youtube channel. His dream is to overthrow Logan Paul.

The Sumo Hall card with Fujita and Go is finalized. Simon Gotch will face Masa Funaki (c) for the GHC National. Other non natives are on that card as well.

Toryumon CASA will be one of the places for Pro Wrestling Noah's younger wrestlers to train abroad. So basically inheriting Toryumon.

They have teamed up with A-Sketch, a music label that has produced popular artists. A-Sketch aims along with NOAH together is to expand promotional and entertainment activities for NOAH wrestlers.

I finally caught up with Tanaka vs Fujita. First ⅔ are very deliberate & slow in a way that saw me going to my phone quite a bit & getting distracted, never a good sign. And then

Honestly though, booking Kazuyuki Fujita to go 30 would've been a lousy idea 20 years ago. This match was longer than the combined 3 matches of his first IWGP reign.

Spoilers for today's Dragongate show that relate to NOAH

Spoiler

After the opener the NOAH Juniors trio of Harada, Miyawaki & HAOH all came out to have a brief fight & staredown with Z-Brats, hyping up the match on Friday's Sumo Hall show. And later on in the show, Minorita vs Metal Warrior, Metal Warrior unmasked to reveal himself as Eita, & the other 2 unmasked as Kotaro Suzuki & NOSAWA Rongai, so Los Perros del Mal de Japon will be challenging Gold Class for the Open The Triangle Gate Titles, presumably at Dead or Alive on the 5th May

Keiji Mutoh may return soon, he isn't feeling much pain as he was before. He has some lost weight and joked that he will be joining the juniors. Naomichi Marufuji joked about him about going for the junior tags together, Mutoh however still wants the GHC National. The GHC National probably will be his last singles titles for his career.

Wouldn't be the first time he has wrestled for a Junior title after losing weight.

Looks like Fujita won't be able to face Go, we will see what they will do now.

Well, they could always punish Michael Elgin for his incredibly bad tweeting by having him get chopped red raw by Go. That could be fun.

Looks like it gonna be Kaito vs Go for the GHC HW. Either way we get a new champ,

Kazuyuki Fujita's vacated with COVID-19.  Announced at a press conference.

I don't think they have done enough to rehabilitate Kaito yet after spending the entire pandemic making him look like a geek.

I worry that this will be taken as a reinforcement of NOSAWA's philosophy that only the guys who he watched as a kid can draw, if the Sumo Hall show isn't a success (despite them having half a week to promote it). Which considering how much I like guys like Inaba, Inamura, Okada, Yano, would be a big letdown. Inamura still gets treated barely better than a young boy, Okada still is one despite him turning 30 this year.

That said, if they do go back to Kaito he needs to keep the belt until at least after the N1. I really enjoy him and think he really grew into the position by the end of his first title reign, so just hope they don't screw it up. Sometimes watching NOAH it feels like a promotion above all others and then sometimes the booking makes all the sense of reading Dostoyevsky in the original language

Go has better chances in winning the GHC HW in the non kayfabe sense because of his age and seniority. CyberFight era NOAH is where the older guys dominate. But Kaito is always billed as the real NOAH Ace by media in Japan and main evented the NJPW/NOAH show.

it could go either way.
