OK, I trust you on that one. 😉

But technically Marufuji, Ogawa and Inoue are the only three still left from the first show. Akitoshi Saito also joined NOAH before Sugiura. (I admit I had to look that up.)

Could be interesting fuse or shit like match says the articles, lol.

"When Kazushi Sakuraba's professional wrestling and Naomichi Marufuji's professional wrestling are fused, I think it will be a messy or shit-like match, but I want to make it a messy and interesting match. Then, I would like to defeat Mr. Sakuraba on that basis. "

Kiyomiya-Nakajima from the Kongo vs Noah show was really good. Kenoh-Kitamiya was good and Alejo looked ready to challenge for the Jr title.

I'm hyped for Marufuji-Sakuraba. Should be an interesting contrast. The Jr tag title could steal the show, Ohara/Harada is a fun team.

Some classic Muto/Muta BS vs Kiyomiya. Guy is a drain on NOAH if he doesn't eventually put Kiyomiya over big. At least that youngster Ogawa got to stand up to him today. I just have no faith in Muto to do the right thing here and until I see it, it just feels like a waste.

That aside, Marufuji-Sakuraba was fun and worth checking out. The strike exchange segment was fun due to Sakuraba's charisma.  The Jr tag title match was good and Hayata vs Yo-Hey was ok.

N1 should end with Kaito pinning Muto but Kenoh and Nakajima feel in the mix.

The respective group winners of the blocks above will face each others in a final group on October 3rd.

They been building up Kaito as the young ace in media now as someone who needs to overcome Muto. Surprised Muto is doing N 1 matches but those small blocks do mean less matches and so less wear on the body.

Mostly a good line-up, but I'm sad that Yoshiki Inamura can't take part this year. 😞

Also surprised that Akitoshi Saito will be in the tournament, but not Shuhei Taniguchi. Would have liked to maybe see another young guy in there like Kinya Okada, instead of Saito or Kotaru Suzuki.

I'm putting my money on Masa Kitamiya to win the tournament this year.

Muto is going to go undefeated, win the N-1, get his belt back from Marufuji and retire 3 months later after putting over Saito or Ogawa.
