I'm fucking stunned. Just completely numb and broken up right now. My wife and I just watched the episode of Justified with him in it tonight too.

Like, I just don't have the words.

To be honest I didn't really understood the cultural effect Black Panther had until a few weeks after it had opened when I was chatting with a black friend of mine and he mentioned to me that he had already seen it twice and was planning to go again. This was surprising to me because this guy really wasn't as hardcore into the Marvel Universe as I was. I think he saw Iron Man and the first Avengers and that was about it. I asked him why this movie struck a chord with him and he said basically the same thing the folks in that video said. That finally there was a hero on screen who looked like him. Chadwick Boseman touched a lot of people's lives with his portrayl of T'Challa, and even though he's gone way too soon (shit, I'M 43 and I can tell you I don't feel like my life is about to wrap up anytime soon) dude has a hell of a legacy.

So the dude who played the Black Panther and Jackie Robinson died on what was the birthsate of Black Panther's creator and was also the day that MLB players honor Robinson?

Seriously 2020, enough already

I can't believe this shit.  R.I.P. to a great young actor.  I really enjoyed his work, I don't know whether to be sad or mad

It's okay to be both, there's no shame in showing true emotion at any time, it's what tethers people together through all the good and bad things life brings.
