Solid matches. Would've liked more of Eddie/RVD but fun while it lasted. Good main event, Deonna is always awesome. Digging the Callihan/RVD feud so looking forward to that next week. Wonder if WrestleHouse ends soon, Swinger wanting to "Mr. Fuji" everyone with powder is great.

Impact Wrestling Emergence Night 2 - August 25, 2020

*Eddie Edwards(c) def. Rob Van Dam (w/ Katie Forbes) (7:24) after the Boston Knee Party to retain the Impact worlds championship. After the match, Eric Young attacked Edwards and announced he would challenge Eddie for the title next week.Afterwards, Edwards cut a promo accepting Young's challenge and said they didn't have to wait until next week, they could do it right now. Young came back out and cut a promo but insisted on next week. Edwards said he can wait until next week but the ass whooping would start now. Eddie attacked Young and they brawled around ringside until being separated by refs, security and Scott D'Amore. 

*Brian Myers def. Willie Mack (9:40) via rollup with tights pulled

Deonna Purrazzo(c) def. Jordynne Grace in a 30 minute ironman match to retain the knockouts championship, 2 falls to 1
-Jordynne choked out Deonna via rear naked choke
-Deonna pinned Jordynne after hitting her with the knockouts title
-Deonna forced Jordynne to submit to the Venus de Milo with 3 seconds left

Drunk Taya & Fuji Salt were the highlights of Wrestle House. Next Week we get Taya vs. Rosemary with EVERYTHING on the Line. EC3 cut a Hell of a Promo and gave the reason he stole Moose's title last week. Ironman is the MOTW so far with Grace focusing on the back while Purrazzo focused on the fingers/hand/arm/shoulder then had to pull out the dirty tactics with the clock under 3 mins.

Wrestle House was great this week. Loved the Fuji Salt stuff, Swinger stumbling around like an idiot with his blindfold on and Taya in that toga.... yowza. John Morrison is a lucky lucky man.

Johnny Swinger wrestling Crazy Steve in a blindfold match being one of the most entertaining things in wrestling this week is totally on brand for 2020.  If you had told me 2 years ago that I would write that sentence I would have had you locked up.

Its probably slipped under the radar of a ton of people who won’t watch Impact and it’s probably been said every week in the Impact threads, but Swinger’s Impact run has been really, really, really entertaining.
