RIPPA Posted July 15, 2020 Author Posted July 15, 2020 Oh and the one thing I forgot to include Matches start Nov 21 New Thanksgiving Tradition!
Dolfan in NYC Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 I'm sure qualifying and stuff will start soon, whether we like it or not. So let's make this it's own thing before I forget.

RIPPA Posted July 27, 2020 Author Posted July 27, 2020 CONCACAF officailly revealed the 2022 qualifying Technically qualifying starts Oct 2020 because all teams get a shot now (uh huh) The "real" qualifying though starts June 2021 with the "Octagonal" (RIP Hex). Since the Top 6 spots are based on FIFA Rankings - Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Honduras are already in the Octagon. The other three will be determined by an annonying process but most likely it will be filled by 3 of these 6 teams: El Salvador, Canada, Curacao, Panama, Haiti, and Trinidad and Tobago (they are the next 6 via FIFA rankings) Top 3 Finishers in the Octagon advance directly to Qatar. 4th place goes to the international playoff round.
RIPPA Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 Oof... per Rob Stone in 2026 Concacaf will have EIGHT teams qualify EDIT - this is due to a combo of expanded field and the three host countries (US, Mexico and Canada) automatically qualifying

This sounds horrible. It's like putting the whole Gold Cup inside the World Cup.
Guest Edwin Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 8 CONCACAF clubs? That's worse than Japan and Qatar playing the past Copa América and Australia and Qatar being invited to what was this years Copa América and will now be played next year.
RIPPA Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 I am a little unclear if that is the new norm due to the expanded field or just a product of them getting 3 auto bids due to the hosts
RIPPA Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 Okay - clarification So with 3 hosts getting 3 of the spots - pretty much assures Costa Rica and Jamaica getting in too
RIPPA Posted August 19, 2020 Author Posted August 19, 2020 If Canada can't advance out of that group they should stop trying
Dolfan in NYC Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 CONCACAF has scheduled the start of WC '22 qualifiers. They'll begin in March and run through early '22.
odessasteps Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 Ireland Score. Not a hoax, not an imaginary story.
odessasteps Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 Ireland losing to Luxembourg doesn't seem too bad now
RIPPA Posted March 31, 2021 Author Posted March 31, 2021 Apparently this was only Germany's third WCQ loss ever and the first time Joachim Low has lost one since being in charge.
sabremike Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Germany: This is the most humiliating defeat ever. Philadelphia Flyers: Hold our beers...
Death From Above Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Today I learned North Macedonia is a country. 1
ReiseReise Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Guys, it's just to build maximum interest for the return match when crowds will be back. We will win Euro 2020(2021) and then get our win back. Broadway would have been too obvious.
RIPPA Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 Canada will "host" 2 qualifiers in the US in June June 5 against Aruba will be in Bradenton, FL June 8 against Suriname will be in Bridgeview, IL
