I don't think I disliked them, but I doubt i loved them either. Does remind that they were related. Ozark is playing in that same male anti-hero space as Sopranos and Breaking Bad with all the expected marital strife and rampant criminality thrown in. Don't take that to mean it's anywhere close to as good as the shows I name-checked there. Ozark is competent, but it's playing with familiar and almost-stale material. It matching Successions in nominations is baffling to me, and that's taking into account Ozark having a decent season. These voters see something in it I don't. Kominsky Method is a Chuck Lorre show starring Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin. One of them is an acting coach. I could only handle about one episode. @EVA's starfucking explanation probably works here. Unbelievable is a Netflix miniseries based on a real rape investigation. I hear it's pretty good. I’ve never watched it, but it seems like most top critics liked it a lot (surprisingly). Seemed like a big deal this past spring. I Know This Much Is True: Awards-bait misery porn starring Mark Ruffalo as twins. (Mission accomplished!) Bad Education: HBO film. Kind of a dark comedy about Hugh Jackman as a shady school administrator trying to have the best school system in the country, or something. Possibly based on a true story? UNBELIEVABLE IS VERY GOOD.
