Part of the reason he had to wear a mask as Golga was because he dropped so much weight they didn't think the Earthquake gimmick would be believable anymore. And yeah, he was still in his 20s when he feuded with Hogan. He looked about 45.

People aged much differently back then.

The other night I watched Revenge of the Taker where Disco was suppose to come as Honky Tonk Man's protege (which ended up being Billy Gunn, who they then proceeded to job in his first match with literally zero crowd response) but chose to re-sign with WCW instead. WCW then made him job to Jacqueline later that year after much to his dismay not wanting to lose to her. Disco was more over than he should have been, but he was booked largely as a goof when the MNW was actually competitive. And if he would have went to WWF, hell, it probably would have been worse. Death From Above
"Analyitics are dumb and don't matter to me" has finally made its way to wrestling? This is the most real sports thing wrestling has had in years.

I feel like Spears is the right answer because he let TK stun him after the show and since then he's had the Tully face thing among other stuff. I'll counter that when both actually got to the age they looked, they looked it. Take away 30 pounds or so and Arn doesn't look THAT different from his BrainBusters days. I'll take that over guys like Ralph Macchio and Macaulay Culkin who looked like little kids who would never grow old...and then one day....

I don't know didn't Colt get laughed at his first AEW appearance where he had to explain he was a wrestler? And in 2020 he's still coming out to that awful boom boom theme.. I think he qualifies

Makes sense for PTI guys to shit on analytics because it's not like they'll become the best people to analyze statistics and data AND analytics devalue talking head bullshit of yelling at each other because analytics are relatively objective. How you interpret them, of course, is not but if everybody was checking out advanced stats, you'd likely not need a reason to listen to two middle aged men yelling at each other who the GOAT is and other such nonsense.

I think this applies to a lot of actors/entertainers who looked older when they first appeared on the scene. Unless you have drastic plastic surgery like a Mickey Rourke, it isn't as jarring to see them in old age.
For Great Justice
I always preferred Wins Above Brad Armstrong (WABA). So who are the anti-Arn/Tentas? Batista being 37 or so when he broke though comes to mind. Edited July 10, 2020 by For Great Justice

AJ Styles, innit? Had to grow a beard to stop people repeatedly rebooting him as an up and coming hungry tiger, despite being over 30 years of age and a multiple time World Champion.
